  • Nike Air Max LeBron VII x DJ Clark Kent
By on March 22nd, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Nike Air Max LeBron VII x DJ Clark Kent
Hip hop DJ and record producer, Clark Kent has been a part of Nike since he has collaborated several models, particularly basketball shoes. He mixes colors the way how he mixes music which often results to interesting colorways.

DJ Clark Kent’s works have shown his fans the relationship of sneakers and music, both can be loud even one in its own discrete way. In view of this, Kent took the Nike Air Max LeBron VII to be the base of his next design. By utilizing the original 112 Pack combo, the shoe sports a Black leather upper and elephant print panels with neon Green accent that appears as the Flywire threading and Swoosh border. A 3M reflective was employed on the Flywire panel outline creating luminous effect especially in the dark.

The Nike Air Max LeBron VII x DJ Clark Kent should be further praised with its neon Green full length Air Max unit and trail-inspired laces. Other attributes include the original L23 medallion which prompts on the heel, 112 Pack tongue label, and a 112 debray.

Should this be the next sneaker of the year nominee?

By on March 22nd, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Vans Vault Priz Hi Lace LX
Vans was first known with its skater shoes and not ending there, more boat shoes and slip-ons were created adding up to its authentic lineup. With its fine craftsmanship, Vans later excelled in the sneaker business and its original chukka designs were one of the most saleable in the market. It adopts a traditional look with a modern touch that both young and old could relate to.

The Vault, one of Vans’ most accepted lines has been made up with innovative figures. One of which is the Priz Hi Lace LX that was set to debut on April 2010 as a fresh sneaker to join the Spring collection. This model appears in two color-ups where one owns an unruffled combination of Brown leather and Black suede on the upper with detailed stitching on the heel and ankle areas plus a set of flat laces in colorful ethnic pattern.

The remaining colorway is a rugged Burgundy leather and Grey suede mixture with the same accents. Both colorways were complemented with White vulcanized rubber soles with each displaying a Vans patch on the heel and Black strip around the midsole.

The Vans Vault Priz Hi Lace LX is expected to drop sometime next month so better sneak at any Vans outlet near you.

  • Nike Dunk High Zoom – White/Blue/Sea Green
By on March 22nd, 2010 | No Comments Comments

The Dunk is at the center of attention now, so Nike better do their part or they will dash the hopes of many sneakerheads. With a look at this Dunk, Nike is definitely showing who’s boss in the shoe game. This latest Nike Dunk is given the Zoom Brand. The official colorway of this Nike Dunk High Zoom is dubbed White/Blue/Sea Green. The design starts off with a clean white base. Sea Green is brought into place on the Nike Swoosh, midsole stitching, and tongue. Blue is put into action on the shoe laces, inner lining, and the tongue tag. The design looks like a piece of cake effort wise, so maybe Nike should have tried a bit harder. Look for these at Nike retailers very soon.

  • Spike Lee – Air Jordan Spiz’ike “Grape”
By on March 22nd, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Spike Lee is a huge New York Knicks supporter. We always see him court side, and he plays a huge role in the games. How can you forget the Spike Lee and Reggie Miller fiasco? Well Spike Lee was seen in his assigned seat at Madison Square Garden when the Knicks took on the Sixers last night. The famous film director was spotted in a pair of Grape Air Jordan Spiz’ikes, which will release next month. The Grape Spiz’ikes borrows the colorway from the obvious pair, Grape Vs. I really never liked the Spiz’ikes, and when they steal a colorway from a classic, it just makes me real mad. Check out more pics of Spike Lee rocking the Spiz’ikes. Via Sneakernews.

  • Nike Air Max LeBron VII – Heroes Pack
By on March 22nd, 2010 | No Comments Comments

The Nike Air Max LeBron VII has owned some great colorways in the past. Of all the great colorways we have examined on the LeBron VII, my favorite has to be the Nike Air Max LeBron VII “All Star”. However, here we have two brand new colorways that could be some of the best we have seen.

These two colorways of the Air Max LeBron VII are inspired by two of the biggest idols LeBron James had as a child. The red pair is inspired by Deion Sanders, while the other pair honors Penny Hardaway. The pair that is inspired after Penny Hardaway borrows the colors from the Orlando Magic. Sorry to give you the bad news, but these will not release. But if they did, would these be a definite cop?
