before this Spiz’ike,  the “Grape” nickname only went with one sneaker, the Air Jordan Grapes Vs. The Grape Vs are one of the most loved Air Jordans of all time. But Jordan Brand just had to dub this Spiz’ike with that same legendary branding that is only assigned to the 5s to true sneakerheads. I don’t know why Jordan Brand picked this colorway if they knew that it was going to cause Sneakerheads to stay away. But some people are bound to like the sneaker no matter what the nickname is. In Air Jordan history, American film director, Spike Lee has been a part of its contributing entities when he did a commercial picture featuring the Air Jordan IV. No doubt, Lee himself has been a fan of the Jordans as he was spotted once wearing a pair of Air Jordan Spiz’ike in Knicks game.

Similar to what Spike Lee has obtained, the upcoming Spiz’ike sports a slightly modified design. With the “Grape” label, this shoe secretly features the concept. We are then privileged to scrutinize once again the details of this intriguing sneaker.

Visibly, White leather covers up most of the upper with heavy perforations. It leaves a spot on the forefoot and heel where elephant print overlay appears. The Grey tongue displays a Green Jumpman logo. It further features a clear lace stopper, trapezoidal strap, and a Black/White midsole plus Purple outsole. Number “23″ finds its place on the heel area with a Spike Lee mock-up logo at the center. The debray labels were not of our concern for this time since they remain to be defined once this Spiz’ike version drops next month.

The World Cup is just a couple of months away, so expect a lot of sneakers inspired after countries that are part of the World Cup. Well Nike put together this Nike Air Max Light for Team USA. This is a great way to honor the the United States. Im sure most of you expected a red/white/blue colorway, but Nike decided to change things up a bit.

Grey perforated leather is put into used on the midfoot and quarter panels. Navy blue is placed on the Nike Swoosh as well as the mudguard. Large amounts of red are used on the sneaker, including the outsole and inner lining. The front eyelet also features a bright red. To finish of the sneaker, white is placed on areas such as the midsole and toe box. USA, go out and win that World Cup!

We all know the New York Yankees team colors. White and Blue with the famous pinstripes.  But this Air Force 1 associates purple with the New York Yankees, which i don’t really understand. This Futura x NY Yankees x Nike Air Force 1 features a pretty dope colorway. Most of the sneaker comes in Metallic Silver including the uppers and toe box. White is put into used on the midsole, Nike Swoosh, inner lining, and tongue. The shoe laces also feature white. The eye-catching color, purple, is seen on areas such as the outsole and tongue tag. Don’t expect the Yankees to change their team colors anytime soon, but they have to think about it after seeing this sneaker. These are available now.

New York Knicks  home games are a perfect way to see some big name celebrities. Most of the celebrities at MSG are seen in some pretty fresh kicks. We just saw Spike Lee in a pair of “Grape” Spiz’ikes a couple of nights ago. Well here we see a big name athlete that is also rocking a pair of Air Jordan Spiz’ikes. New York Jets Pro Bowl cornerback Darrelle Revis was spotted in a pair of Air Jordan Spiz’ike’s in White and Fire Red, which were just released. The stand out corner was also accompanied by a friend, which was seen a pair of Air Jordan IV Fusion’s. NBA Hall of Famer Magic Johnson was also in attendance, and set just a few seats away from Revis.

We first reported a long while back about Nike planning to release a new Chukka type of sneaker called the Nike Aina Chukka.It has been quite a while since that first report, but it seems as though Nike has finally gotten their ducks in a row because they will now officially be releasing this new model and we are pretty anxious to see exactly how it does.

The first color that they have said that they will be releasing is this new Stone Suede colorway.The upper will come in a tonal gray stone color and will feature suede detailing along most of the upper.They are accented by a white midsole which helps to break up the subtle color used on the upper.The laces on these look to be made of some sort of soft leather.These should be releasing soon so get your wallet ready now.
