By on February 5th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Nike is killing the Zoom Kobe V by releasing great colorway after great colorway. As of late we have seen some fantastic colorways of the Zoom Kobe V. Well Nike is at it again as they plan to release another colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe V. This sneaker is dubbed “Blackout”. Most of the sneaker comes in black, hence the name “Blackout”. Gunmetal gray is placed on the toe guard and eyestay, while touches of purple are used on the part of the outsole. This is one of the more simple Kobe Vs we have seen yet, so they are sure to be a success for Nike. There is no release date yet, so keep it here for updates.

  • Air Jordan Flight 45 High “True Blue”
By on February 5th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

The “True Blue” color way is one of the best color ways on Air Jordans. The color way is also featured on one of my favorite pairs of Jordans, True Blue IIIs. Jordan Brands latest model that takes on the “True Blue” color way is this Jordan Flight 45 High. The Flight 45 High has had a lot of negative comments since its release. But with this classic color way placed on the Flight 45, maybe more sneakerheads will come towards the Flight 45 High. The sneaker features an white base, with “True Blue” accents seen just above the sole, on the inner lining, and tongue border and on the strap. The sneaker also features the popular cement design. The shoe is finished off with a white midsole and grey outsole. These will be available later this month.

  • Nike Air Force 1 Black History Month 2010
By on February 5th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Black History Month is really important to Nike. We see Nike releasing numerous kicks every year to honor Black History Month. Last night, Charles Barkley and the TNT crew gave us a sneak peak at this years Black History Month Air Force 1. They also mentioned that the sneaker will see a retail release. Last years Air Force 1 was not released to the public.

The sneaker comes in the usual Black History Month colors. Black is placed on most of the shoe including the upper, toe box, tongue, midsole, Nike Swoosh, and inner. Red is seen on the outsole and part of the tongue tag, while green is used on the Nike Swoosh stitching and is placed just above the midsole. Proceeds from all shoes sold will be donated to Cheyney University, the oldest Black institution in the U.S. The official release date is on February 18th, 2010.

Nike Blazer Low Year of The Tiger
After seeing the Year of the Tiger Cortez, it is going to be a tough road for any shoe that tries to compete with that shoe as far as having the Year of the Tiger moniker.Of course, even given the buzz surrounding the Year of the Tiger Cortez, you know that Nike would never put all of their eggs in one basket for this upcoming Chinese New Year.

The latest Year of the Tiger sneaker that we have spotted is this new Nike Blazer Low Year of the Tiger. It will feature a predominantly blue leather upper and sits on top of a white midsole. In between the blue leather upper and the white midsole however is a white and black tiger stripe pattern that matches the tiger print laces. The swoosh on these is done in white and there is a section of the tiger print featured on the heel as well.

Nike Zoom Kobe V Make Sense
We think that Nike Zoom Kobe V Make Sense is the perfect name for this shoe because it just makes so much sense. It makes sense on many different levels, but mostly it due to the Los Angeles Lakers colorway that is featured on the shoe.It comes in a low version which is still a bit controversial for most die hard basketball players who couldn’t imagine playing in anything but a high, but these are great for casual wear as well.

These ones will feature a predominantly white upper with a yellow swoosh and features flywire stitching where the usual flywire panel would be.It should be noted that the yellow swoosh is made up of patent leather which adds a nice bit of style to the sneaker and really makes it pop and it matches the inner lining as well as the tongue symbol.Keep your eyes peeled for these.
