    Nike Air Rift
Some of you might remember the Nike Air Rift, a shoe that was first released back in 1995.The shoe was created for Kenyan runners who needed a shoe that would better emulate the barefoot running that they were used to.A shoe trying to emulate being barefoot may seem sort of contradictory, but of course shoes are required in any Olympic event.

Nike used a split toe design with an ergonomic sole and low profile neoprene sock liner to achieve the barefoot feel, and the result is a very comfortable sneaker.Retro and purist sneakerheads will be happy to know that Nike will be releasing these as two of the OG colorways that were released back in 1995.We will be getting a purple and yellow colorway as well as a black white and green version. We expect these to be popping up in stores very soon, maybe by the time you read this.

Air Jordan 9.5 Gerald Wallace PE
Gerald Wallace has been spotted on the court a whole lot lately with some heat on his feet.We have seen him recently in some Player Edition XII’s that made us really jealous when we saw them. These new ones that they have made for him aren’t quite as special as those XII’s, but they still have their place and are nice enough in their own right.

This is the new Jordan 9.5 Gerald Wallace PE, and it will be made up of white pebbled leather and is riddled with hits of Bobcats orange.Gerald’s initials and jersey number are featured on the lateral heel just above the characters that are imprinted into the midsole. Some Chinese characters that we can’t decipher are also featured on the midsole on the back section. We aren’t quite as jealous of Gerald for these shoes as we are for the XII’s, but we wouldn’t mind a pair of these as well.

    Vans Vault Switchback LX
A while back we reported on a new Vans style called the Native American Binding that somewhat resembles the Vans Switchback. The Native American Binding still hasn’t released yet, but you can still check out this new Vans Vault Switchback LX to hold you over until it actually releases.

This new two-toned Switchback is made out of orange and maroon premium leather really works extremely well to accent each other. The orange leather makes up the majority of the shoe, taking up the entire back of the shoe, while the maroon section will cover the whole toe area.It is complimented by the patented white vulcanized rubber sole that Vans has become so famous for.It also has a boot like way of lacing up, with normal lace eyelets on the bottom, but then switching to hooks for the top two. These are available now from Vans online store.

And yet again we seen another Nike Zoom Kobe V. But this time Nike has made this a Grade School model, which i don’t remember seeing before on the Kobe V. This Nike Zoom Kobe V GS comes in an Pinkfire/Grey/White color way. Pinkfire is seen throughout the sneaker including the toe, outsole, heel, ankle, liner, tongue, and Nike Swoosh. White is placed on the mid panels, shoe laces, and toe box. Touches of grey are seen around the shoe. The shoe is labeled as a Boys release, but Im pretty sure we will only see the girls rocking these. These are available now at the NikeStore in kids sizes only.

Nike Air Maxim 1 Black/Club Purple
A whole lot of great colorways of the Air Maxim 1 have been popping up lately, probably due in part to the fact that they are one of the few shoes to feature the Torch technology.Either way, we are glad to see so many new pictures coming around, because these have been a personal favorite model of ours for a while now and options are always a good thing.

On this pair black is used for the cloth build as well as on the mid panel flywire section.Club purple can be spotted on the tongue as well as on the swoosh and the eyelets.Aquamarine laces make up the laces and the inner, although to be honest it looks more like yellow to us.A gum outsole finishes off this package and is a nice little addition to the shoe. These should be available very soon, so keep an eye out.

    New Balance WRC576FR
What to do you get when you take a classic running shoe, a hiking boot, some crazy colors and a whole lot of style? You get the New Balance WRC576FR of course. This is definitely one of the most interesting releases that we have seen from New Balance so far this year and that is saying a lot because we have seen a lot of good things from New Balance this year.

One of these shoes features what could be best described as an American southwest styled colorway being comprised of yellow, red, blue and brown. The second pair will feature beige, purple, blue and black.Maybe the most interesting part of these shoes is actually the sole, which is highly textured and stylized.White metal eyelets for the laces round these ones out and make everything look super cool.Expect to see these ones in stores very soon.
