Were you excited about the All Star Weekend in Dallas? To add more to that thrilling feeling is the adidas Consortium with two colorways of the Artillery Mid that was used by participants like Mark Cuban in the Celebrity All Star Game last February 12th.

In traditional red, white and blue All Star color combination, a colorway for each of the East and West teams was released to the public. Though available in limited quantities, you better still have it checked. For the teams’ colorways, the East sneakers were in blue with red and white accents, while the West sneakers were in red with blue and white accents. Like flip-flops of each other, the sneakers’ embossed details on the brown side panels and silver foil-like highlights were quite remarkable as well as the details on the heel and tongue that will surely commemorate the night logos from the event carefully stitched.

Okay the Nike Blazer High is officially my favorite Nike sneaker. I just made that choice after seeing this Nike Blazer High. The shoe just jumps at you. There is just something about these sneakers that just make it so special. Maybe its the eye popping colorway. This Nike Blazer High comes in an Metallic Silver colorway. Metallic Silver is covered over the whole upper. Black is used on the Nike Swoosh, liner, heel, and the top of the tongue. White is seen on the midsole, while red is featured on the outsole and the Nike Branding on the heel. These are available overseas now, but expect a release in the states sometime soon.

The “Kryptonate” colorway became popular when Nate Robinson from the NY Knicks won the 2009 Slam Dunk Contest. Robinson won the contest in the Nike Foamposite Lite “Kryptonate”. These were revealed by DJ Greg Street via Twitter. The latest sneaker to take on the “Kryptonate” colorway is this Nike Air Max Hyperize. The sneaker features two shades of green. A dark shade of green is seen on the toe area and throughout the midfoot, while most of the base features a lighter shade of green. Both the Nike Swoosh and outsole use black. “NR”, Nate’s shield logo, is seen on the tongue tag. Its hard to take sides between this and the Nike Foamposite Lite “Kryptonate”. But let us know which one you like better.

Saucony is now establishing its name when it comes to running silhouettes in retro looks as it gave to Saucony Originals few years ago as well as the Jazz, Shadow 6000 and Courageous. Aside from the style, the ample cushioning was quite remarkable. Now Saucony will hit the market in collaboration with Boston’s Bodega to bring back another retro model, the Shadow 5000.

The Shadow 5000 has two-toned colorways which is in red and blue as well as in aqua/grey combination. The sneakers have quality materials in leather, suede and mesh. The white midsole also complemented the gum bottom of the shoe. Rumors were spreading that the release would be limited in Japan but we’ll keep you updated.
