    Nike Air Structure Triax ‘91 White/Green Blade/Blue
If you remember correctly, we first saw this Nike Air Structure Triax ’91 at the end of 2009 and we noted that we would be keeping an eye out for it in the following months getting closer to the release of the shoe.We think that most people who have seen this shoe and also like the silhouette of the Nike Air Structure Triax ’91 will fall instantly in love with this shoe.

These shoes feature a white, green blade and blue colorway that has previously been seen on a Nike Air 180, and it looks like a perfect colorway to start wearing once spring time hits officially. These shoes feature an upper made of predominantly white leather and mesh and is complimented by green blade accents as well as many hits of royal blue throughout the rest of the upper.Keep your eyes peeled, these ones are out now.

    Nike Sellwood Mid AC Grey/White/Red
Here is another new hybrid model from Nike that actually could have turned out a whole lot worse than it actually did. This is the new Nike Sellwood Mid AC.Earlier they came out with a GS version of this shoe, and we were hoping that they would grant us with a full men’s size run, and our wish has now been granted. This is the latest colorway to be announce which is simple but is definitely not boring.

This new Nike Sellwood Mid AC comes in a Gray, White and Red colorway.White leather is found on the perforated toe box, around the ankle and on the tongue and mid panels, while gray leather will make up the rest of the upper.Since it is an AC shoe, of course it will include the autoclave sole otherwise known as vulcanized sole. These ones are available in stores now.

  • The Kubrick Pack from Reebook
By on February 19th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Another mighty collaboration from Reebok comes to commemorate the great films made by Stanley Kubrick – here’s Reebok’s Pump Omni Lites.

It has a military themed pair to remember the Full Metal Jacket days. In the toe box section is the white perforated leather while for the rest of the upper section is made out of Tan nubuck. It has camouflage prints around the collar area with a symbol of peace which is another patent from the same movie.

The second shoe in the Kubrick pack is from the 2001 Space Odyssey movie. It has black patent leather which gives out a very modern look and perforated still in the toe section. Around the collar is a seeming computer chip design which includes a keychain as a seeming allusion of the HAL from the computer system used in the movie as well.

    Vans Classics Chambray Pack
Vans Classics will be releasing a few fan favorites for their Spring lineup all featuring a new material treatment. The pack will include 3 different silhouettes that will make use of two different colorways. We are really digging the darker colorway sneakers in this pack as they remind us of the old school Vans style that made the company rocket to success all those years back.

The Sk8 Hi is here with black chambray against canvas and contrasted by gray throughout the midfoot. An Old Skool has been given the same color treatment as the aforementioned Sk8 Hi, but there will also be a a bright, light blue color also available in the form of an Old Skool.Last but not least, the pack will feature a Vans Era in that same bright, light blue color. If you are digging any of the shoes in this pack, you can put your hands on them in March.

Nike Trainer SC 2010 Solar Red
Not only a dozen of designs did Nike unveil to the public as a respond to its market demand for fresh new looks this 2010. Not all releases were definitely new though a lot were revamped and updated such as the Nike Trainer SC which now comes in Solar Red colorway.

To dig this particular shoe deeper, we start by mentioning the upper in a White mesh with Black leather mudguard. The Black Swoosh has a decorative Red outline stitching that also matches up with the Flywire bands. A large print Nike branding appears on the tongue in Black while it displays in Red font on the heel. Vertically adjacent to the latter is a measurement of the time the Nike Trainer SC have existed – 1990-2010.

Interestingly, the Red Air Unit is visible on the heel portion while the rest of the sole comes in White. Other attributes are White shoe laces, Black inner liner, and number “34″ print on the insole.

    Nike V Light GS
Most sneakerheads curse the gods that be whenever they hear that Nike or Jordan is creating yet another hybrid or mash-up sneaker.Even if you do enjoy some hybrids, let’s play a little game. Two random shoes, the Nike Vandal and the Nike Air Max 90.Two great shoes on their own, but how well do you think they would mix together? If you are cringing in your seat right now, we don’t blame you, but we do have a surprise for you.

The new Nike V-Light is exactly that, a mash up of the Nike Vandal and the Nike Air Max 90 and it actually came out looking pretty good, to the surprise of many. This may not be enough to make you start accepting all of the hybrids and mash ups releasing these days, but at least it is hope that they can do it right when they want to.
