  • Zuriick Caldwell Navy blue sneakers
By on January 4th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

caldwellbluefrontlA brand known for producing low profile sneakers comes another smooth operator kicks in classic and conservative navy blue. The design is very basic and minimalist in approach, nothing too flashy or fancy. Only the things necessary for a good pair of kicks. This baby comes in lace up design, in navy blue fabric upper, that is somewhat reminiscent of the Pro-Keds sneakers.

The upper has a chocolate brown leather that serves as a lining on the ankle, and the black lace holes and matching dark laces provides good contrast. The white vulcanized mid sole pops out from the dark canvas, while the out sole is in purple, a Zuriick Caldwell trademark.

Steve Nash is known for his pin point passing and fluid like movement on the hard court.  With skills like his, he needs a shoe that can keep up with his pace.  The Nike Hyperdunk Low Steve Nash PE is a great addition to the HD that were released for these NBA Pros.  The white, black, and purple colourway was provided by Steve’s teammate, Jared Dudley.  Everything is similar to the Nike Hyperdunk Low but the difference is seen on the upper.  Instead of Flywire, there is a diamond etched pattern that is also seen on the Nike Trash Talk Zoom BB II Low.

Getting a Player Exclusive is very difficult in today’s sneaker market.  Thanks to the Nike House of Hoops, getting a pair designed for your favorite NBA star is easier.  In addition to the Nike PE collection, the Nike Air Max Rise Brandon Roy and David West PE’s were released.  These NBA stars are two of the most promising hard court players of today.  The Roy PE is an alternative to the previously released version, like an alternate jersey for the red jersey of the Blazers.  The David West PEs has patent black upper with the Hornet’s turquoise and purple coloring which makes it a sure fit for any Hornets fan.  The public releases of these PEs are not yet out so keep an eye out for them.

Together with the new colourways of the Nike Hyperdunk Low coming out next year, the White/Grey colourway of the Nike Hyperdunk Low would amongst the most awaited colourways of the already famous brand.  The amount of detailing in this HD really brings out the white and grey combo.  The whole shoe is covered with patent leather, except for the Flywire panel.  Grey speckles cover the white midsole of the shoe.  The outsole is completely clear.  The inner socker liner and heel guard are a cool grey in the almost all white background.  All in all, it looks like the reverse of the Grey Nike Hyperdunk.

Why fix something that is already perfect?   Because when it comes to shoes, you cannot limit yourself with mundane possibilities.  That is what Nike did to the Nike Air Max Lebron VII Dunkman.  They released the Neon Green colourway to an already awesome pair of kicks.  The colourway is a combo of neon green and black.  There is a patent black mudguard, 3M stitched into the laces, a medallion on the sole, and an enormously large Dunkman logo.  The new Lebron VII starts off with a bang this year.  This will be released in March so keep an eye on it.
