Nike Hyperize 11Change x Takehiko Inoue
As Nike opens its Harajuko store, 11 personalities were given a chance to design a Nike shoe to mark the occasion. Among the lucky ones was Takehiko Inoue, a Japanese manga artist best known for the basketball manga Slam Dunk, which has become a success both in Japan and overseas. According to Inoue, basketball had a big influence to his life and career while his works also influenced Japanese children to start playing the sport. As one of the guest artists, Inoue chose a Nike Hyperize and applied his special skill in customizing it. He treated the shoe’s light Grey leather base with hand-drawn characters including basketball references maintaining the original Flywire design on the side panel with the same White and Blue sole. Along with this craft, Inoue also designed an accompanying shirt full of his original creation. Both products will be made available at Nike Harajuko store on the 30th of January 2010.

    Jordan CP3.III Mardi Gras
The term Mardi Gras or carnival season refers to events of the carnival celebrations, and in some US cities it is now called “Fat Tuesday”. During these festivities people wearing colorful body paints and costumes parade on the streets. In relation with this, the next Jordan sneaker took the same theme and applied it on the CP3.III. The Mardi Gras treatment mainly features the Black suede base with detailed laser-etched graphics from the side panel to the ankle area while it uses Black premium leather on the bottom part and heel. It is an interesting facet to have Varsity Purple accent in the form of lace loops, Jumpman logo on the heel, heel tab, and speckled midsole. The detail never ends with that since another vivid color creates good accent which is the Orion Blue tint. This comes visible on the Jumpman logo on the toe box, shoe laces, inner liner, contrast stitching, and outsole. In addition, Maize hint is also present on the tongue and details on the outsole. While the Mardi Gras 2009 celebration took place in New Orleans, the Jordan CP3.III also features the state’s area code at the tip of each shoe lace. If you are fond of the Mardi Gras, then this shoe is just right for you. Wait until it hits the shelf on February.

    New Balance M150WS
New Balance has been working hard in order to create new designs using its original models. Today, we are pleased to present one of its undeniably product of creativity and genuine art – the New Balance M150WS. The remake brings a new image of a heavily perforated leather toebox, a Silver overlay along the midsection, solid leather mid panel, and a mesh tongue and collar. There is a perfect blending of colors as the inner liner depicts a tie dye effect. This also goes with the New Balance logo present on the tongue. A tonal stitching was applied on the lower part of the shoe while a combination of Red, Green and Yellow was used on the heel which matches up with the colors that surround the logo on the side panel. Going down to the sole, the M150WS uses the traditional Encap in vintage color with hints of Black, Red and Yellow. Shop 24 Kilates has the stocks now.

    Nike Air Carnivore Retro
One of the Nike releases that retro fans are most excited about returning this year is the Nike Air Carnivore. The Air Carnivore first released back in 1993 and you can see the influence of many shoes in this one, like the Nike Air Raid and the Air Jordan 8.From what we can see so far the colorway that has been announced so far is very interesting and complicated. It features a nice mix of dark green on the toe and tongue, black on the straps, midsole and toe box, purple on the toe of the outsole and small accents of purple throughout the rest of the shoe.Lastly there are bits of white scattered throughout everywhere else to balance things out a bit.We still don’t have an exact release date for these, but we will be following them closely as we are glad to see one of the more retros be re-released.
