  • Etnies Sneaker x Colt 45 results to a Snea-hick!-er
By on December 13th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Men are also like women. They are into fitness (sports), nutritional foods (beer), and fashion (shoes) too! Men also love to organize things as well. They are just often misunderstood because they do it differently than women.

Finally, someone surely knows how to listen to these poor testosterone-driven creatures. Etnies and Colt 45 collaborated to make a product that would put all these things into one. Since I can’t seem to find the name of this footwear (please do comment if you know), I call this as the Snea-hick!-er. It puts everything  that men wants just like a Lazy Boy couch, a 42″ TV, and a cable.

Most parts of the shoe’s outer part is made from suede while the others are from white leather. Color way is inspired by the Colt 45 Malt Liquor’s shades. And it to let the men show off how proud they are with the shoe, the logo of Colt 45 is placed at the side of the heel.

Just wait for further announcements as to when this beer, err, shoe will be released. But for now, remember that it is not safe to drink and drive at the same time.

  • Emeka Okafor buzzes a PE edition from Nike Hypermax
By on December 13th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

The Nike Hypermax Emeka Okafor PE shoes spells COOL! This is just the color way for the black but the white is also worth looking at the same time. The one with the black color way is actually a the combination of the shades of the home team.

The material used for the black base of the shoe allows you to clean it easily by just wiping as it is water resistant. However, it is the other way around for the netted tongue of th footwear. The tip and the sole is made out of purple that finished off its sleek look. And who would not take notice of the Nike swoosh in blue. It is in th middle of the black area of the shoe with blue disco-like rays at the back.

However, if you want a more subtle version of this shoe, you may opt to get the white instead.

  • New Balance and Overkill introduces the Berlin Wall Pack
By on December 13th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

The falling of the Berlin Wall in Germany is historical in many ways. A couple of years after the Overkill was established creating a customer-friendly shop for all the footwear lovers. Because the Berlin Wall event will be on its 20th year, Overkill collaborated with New Balance to provide a footwear that would commemorate the collapse.

This is now called as the 577 which will become available in three colors namely blue, red, and black. At first you might think that there is nothing special with the 577. There will also be 577 shoes for each color, which makes it a limited sneaker. Just a simple combination of colors and the image of the Berlin Wall at the shoe’s tongue.

The design was actually incorporated in the soles of the shoe. These designs were actually the images during the Berlin Wall era.

Expect the Berlin Wall pack to hit the shoe shelves by January 9, 2010 and can be availed for $180, more or less.

  • Green Spark from the Air Penny line, now in stores!
By on December 13th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

It seems that black will still be the black when it comes to shoe fashion, including sneakers. Recently, the Nike Air Penny line released their newest product called the Green Spark. Nothing glittery about the Green Spark. But the green shades at the sole and other parts of the footwear highlights the shoe. Colored in gooey green that looks like the blood from the Martians in most movies, the Green Spark can now be availed at the Nike retail outlets.

The base is all black which give simplicity to th footwear. It is just adorned with the Nike swoosh which is made from plastic material has a design that looks like electricity is flowing through the shoe.

Do you think this is inspired by alien movies? Take a look at the heel and you can imagine the infamous alien from the TV series X-Files. Or maybe its just a silhouette of a bald basketball player with Mc Donald shoes?

Prepare $190 to get a pair of these black and green Nike combination.

  • Nike is about to put you on board to the moon!
By on December 13th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Were those the shoes used by Neil Armstrong and the other two guys who went to the moon? Of course not! This is way better than that. And this is meant for astronauts, eerr, hardcore snowboarders like Danny Kass. Known as the Double Tongue Zoom Force 1s or simply the Moon Boots, this super cool snowboarding shoe will let you feel the aerial spins as if you are defying Earth’s gravity.

The shoe base was made from silvery material to mimic the old school astronaut boots as you can see from the movie Apollo 13. It also has th flags of of Canada and United States on each tongue as well. But the best thing about the Moon Boots is the Kass 82 badge that you can find at the heel, marking your mission as a snowboarder, rather, an astronaut.

Let the Moon Boots fly you to the white mountains and alps in 2010.
