The combination of patent leather, suede, and mesh makes an awesome Alife Chaser Primary upper. With its uncommon color – Yellow, the sneaker jives with the season. Mesh covers the toe area through the tongue with the suede material on the toebox, side panels and heel. The White laces and White midsole make a neutral distinction. Another pair of Nike Air Force 1’s just hit the Alife Ravington Club and Nike Europe. The Black/Red/Grey colorway comes in an all Black leather upper with a Red Nike tag on the tongue and interior liner, together with a Grey sole.

This pair looks so cute and delicious that it could pass equally well at a confectionary. Look at the lovely colors, look at the sweet lines, and the beautiful form. Who could conceive a more life-affirming, joy-inspiring design? Of course it’s ALIFE, and we must say well done to these guys for their sweet achievement.

ALIFE enlivens and invigorates sneaker lovers with the power and style of this yummy creation. And while we don’t advise anyone to bite these, it is unavoidable that some of you there will do so anyway. If you find that the taste is even yummier than we thought, pass the information around. ALIFE Chaser + Shell Toe

In my search for custom sneakers this week, I came across a young sneaker artist named Elizabeth Dias who shows some promise. Dias works under the label Custom Shoes by Bonz and is using her artistic skills to turn simple shoes into sneaker art. After looking through the Custom Shoes by Bonz Facebook page linked here, I was impressed most by the Pow Bam Vans Slip-Ons.

The Pow Bam Vans Slip-Ons focus on the onomatopoetic words associated with explosions. The toe box looks like it was ripped from the classic Batman TV show with a red “Bam” set against an orange cloud and a blue “Pow” emerging from a red cloud. The Pow Bam Vans Slip-Ons also feature a purple stick of dynamite on the right interior and a purple bomb on the left interior side.

Dias completed these customs with a colorful “Boom” on the heel. The designer has only made a few customs thus far but she shows the talent needed to succeed in the sneaker art world. Three new colorways from Supra Vaider Fall 2009 collection. The first has a black suede, grey patent leather upper with bright green accents on the piping and midsole. The second features an all navy patent leather upper with a perforation pattern and a light blue midsole and piping.
