  • Chronic Air Force Ones
By on April 11th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Casey Custom Sneakers made the Chronic Air Force Ones for the owners of a company called LA Confidential Caregivers. The designer wanted to point out a safe and legitimate business that offers legalized marijuana to Californians with health problems. You can find out more about Casey Custom Sneakers at the designer’s website linked here.

The tongue features the center’s name in green letters set against a white background. Casey Customs left the remainder of these Air Force Ones relatively sparse with a green pot leaf painted on each middle panel. The designer put his special label at the top of the tongue, showing that Casey Customs is dealing with themes that Nike would not touch with a ten-foot pole.

I featured the U.S. Marine Air Force Ones in yesterday’s post and we could not have taken a great departure in themes with the Chronic AF1s. While the Marines are universally seen as defenders of American freedom, the debate over the war on drugs and the legalization of marijuana continues in the United States. Casey Customs and L.A. Confidential Caregivers are carving out their stands on this issue with the help of the Chronic Air Force Ones.

  • Nike Womens Blazer Mid 6.0 – Hyper Verde – Rave Pink

Shoes can’t use swords and spears, for sure, but the battle in the skateboarding arena is no less exciting because of the absence of such combat implements. We see in this new creation from Nike all the aspects of power that have allowed them supremacy in the footwear scene, and we are certain that they will keep dominating the fields.

This item features a Hyper Verde (green) canvas upper, with metallic silver threads that emit a shimmering effect. The pink swoosh and laces create an unusual contrast with the green, and the white toe section completes the design in a perfectly balanced fashion.

Concord in discord is a good phrase to define this beauty. It is bold, enticing, and colorful, and we love all that. You can pick a pair of these right now at eBay. Via SucreamUSA

  • Nike x Ben Drury x Dizzee Rascal – Air Max 90

A promise from beyind the mists, a pledge of power through the fog and dist of mediocrity. That is what this new release offers us, and the only problem is the lack of details at this early stage of conception.

Nike will collaborate with the artist Ben Drury for this new design, and judging from what we know, what we don’t yet know is going to have an eye-popping effect on sneakerlovers. This design is going to rock your boat and shake your life, but you’ve gotta wait before you can experience the seismic experience.

We’ll update you as soon as new details are available. Via Ben Drury.

  • U.S. Marine Air Force Ones
By on April 10th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Casey Customs recently customized a pair of Nike Air Force Ones in honor of the U.S. Marines. The U.S. Marine AF1s were completed with the proper respect to our nation’s fighting forces with official colors and careful brush work. I found these custom AF1s at the Casey Customs website linked here.

The designer produced these customs for a Marine nicknamed Fish with the nickname in white on the heel and his full initials on the dog tags on the inside edges. Casey Customs painted the Nike swoosh gold to match the outside edge of the U.S. Marine emblem. The tongue features an exact reproduction of the U.S. Marine emblem that looks like it was transferred from a flag.

After flipping through the Casey Customs website, I was struck by the skills shown through the U.S. Marine Air Force Ones. I will highlight Casey Customs sneakers in the upcoming days but the U.S. Marine AF1s jumped out as soon as I clicked on the website. These customs demonstrate that sneaker art can be used to honor the most honorable instead of celebrating our hobbies and pastimes.

Hmm, so what does this bad do at a footwear website? Well, we wouldn’t bother you with this one, but don’t you ever wonder how you can carry around all those pairs that you own without giving up on style? Nike loves its fans, and here in this elegant bag they are offering a stylish solution to the aforementioned problem.

The ployester/nylon bag features a zipped front pocket, and back mesh pocket, with solid black fabric offset by a simple red Jumpman logo. On the whole the design is simple and elegant, giving up all that is unnecessary for a stylish and solid design.

Next time you go to the shop, throw away the bags, and carry your treasures in this precious chest. Your friends will be impressed. We will too. Available at eBay. Via SucreamUSA.
