  • Supra Skytop NS Studded Black Patent Leather
By on March 16th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

This supreme sample of might and power is the latest from Supra Skytop series. The pair looks heavy and mighty, and if you want your prestige and status to be reflected on the footwear you choose, these shoes will get the job done for you.

Skytop is the origin of the universe, as far as Supra is concerned. The explosive potential of these shoes to burn holes on the ground where they walk shouldn’t be underestimated. With studs on both sides and the heelstrap adding a touch of power to the glossy black leather covering more than three fourths of the texture, the Skytop NS really looks like a battleship.

At the very least, it’s sure to serve you well in your battles against the seas of mud and rain in the streets and subways of the urban scene. The item looks really powerful and the owner will not be disappointed in his choice if he seeks the thrill of owning a Supra.

  • Mosaic Skull Force Ones
By on March 16th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Hypethetic has recently dropped the Mosaic Skull Force Ones through his website linked here. The Mosaic Skull Force Ones are available on a made-to-order basis though Hypethetic has set his production limit at a dozen. I found these photos at Hypethetic’s Customsnkr.com blog linked here.

The Mosaic Skull Force Ones feature a mosaic of yellow, orange and brown hues on the middle panels, back panels and toe boxes. Hypethetic used black patent leather surrounding the toe broken up into individual scales to simulate snakeskin. The snakeskin effect is continued up the eyelets to the collar to add a touch of distinction to these customs. On the heel tag, we see a stitched skull and crutches in gold to match the colorful mosaics elsewhere on the shoe.

Hypethetic opened bidding for a limited run of the Mosaic Skull Force Ones last night at 10pm Eastern. The lucky winners will get the Mosaic Skull Force Ones within a month of the auction’s closing, a remarkable timetable considering the resources needed to complete these customs. Hypethetic is known for creating imaginative customs but I think he set a new bar to surmount on future projects with the Mosaic Skull Force Ones.

  • Nike Microstripe Quickstrike Pack – Air Max 1 + Pocketknife
By on March 16th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Nike has recently added the ladies’ Pocketknife model to the Air Max1 to form perhaps the nicest of Quickstrike packs so far.

The Pocketknife has a really different design, accentuating beauty and refinement of style to a degree that usually emphasizes power and utility in  Nike’s creations. This is not surprising of course, since Nike is equally comfortable with creating items of prestige and might for males, as they are with designing beautiful, and functional ones for the ladies. The striking features of the Pocketknife are the color choices and the different, surprisingly unusual yet effective choice for the strap and lacing system.

It is a perfect choice to complement the supreme design of the Air Max 1, and we can only be delighted at the continued success of Nike at bringing us ever more samples of their never failing ability to amaze and innovate. Whether for your spouse, or girlfriend, the Quickstrike will be a superior gift item this year.

  • Nike Air Max 90 TZ Current Black Blue
By on March 16th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Walking castles is the correct term to describe this Nike. It is powerful and hardy, strong and, we’re tempted to confess, seemingly impervious to mud, rain, or hazard of any kind. This Air Max has the power of a tornado and, with a suitable owner, the speed of a hurricane, dazzling the eyes of birds and humans alike. Do not be mistaken, Nike didn’t create these shoes to rest unused in someone’s home. No they are made to kick and run and jump, and they are going to be like steel soles for the unwearying feet of champions and heroes alike.

The blue accents on the black texture remind us of lighning striking the ground, and the owner of this Nike is sure to shake the ground with his leaps and jumps as he remains the center of any grouping he’s a part of of. Is that your style? Then this is your Nike.
