  • Old School Megatron Air Force Ones
By on March 20th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Sole Junkie Customs gives us a blast from the past with the Old School Megatron Air Force Ones. These custom Air Force Ones use Megatron, the leader of the Decepticons, as the centerpiece for some 1980s nostalgia. I found these photos at Sole Junkie’s Customsnkr.com blog linked here.

The designer recreated Megatron in various poses on both exterior sides as well as the left interior side. The right exterior side shows Megatron with his gun-arm at rest while the left exterior shows the villainous robot in action. The blank right interior is a close image of Megatron’s metallic body, a patchwork of silver panels built to handle laser blasts.

As a fan of Transformers, I loved the Old School Megatron Air Force Ones. Sole Junkie’s depiction of Megatron is spot-on down to the smallest details including the Decepticon logo. You can reach the designer at [email protected] if you want your favorite cartoons celebrated through sneaker art.

Patriots, it’s time to unite and storm the shops. These days fear and gloom brood on the US like a mighty black cloud, and Reebok seems to have devised a timely and proper tool for the fight against pessimism and fear. There’s never been a time when sincere patriotism was in greater need, and these shoes are perfect for those who would like to make a simple but sincere statement about their devotion to the country.

White soles, red midsoles, and blue patent leather emblazoned with white stars bring the star-spangled banner to the mind, and the heavy and mighty design of these shoes appear to tell us that, though down, the US is not to be counted out so easily.

The Reebok Stars Pack has a Pump Omni Lite and an Insta Pump Fury. Do not restrain your fury against politicians and corporate gluttons, shout out your rage and commitment to America with this beautiful new release. Via Sneakernews.com

  • Nike Air Force II High – Nintendo Wii
By on March 20th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

This is the first pair from Nike’s Wii pack to arrive at the stores and it is a very good start to the series. As we had mentioned before, Nike’s well aware that these items must be superior footwear above all, with the Wii theme adding excitement and richness to the conception.

The most interesting feature of the design is the ostrich leather framed translucent side panel. Ostrich leather is an interesting choice and adds an air of exclusivity to this Nike. It looks strong and sturdy, perhaps symbolizing the love of Nintendo’s fans for the gaming platform.

Above all, this is a fine and worthy debut for Nike’s Wii Pack. It is expected to be available at retailers like Shelter in some relatively short time.

  • Nike ACG Air Changste Hiking Shoe

In the old days people devised all sorts of strange and ugly boots for walking in snow, climbing mountains, or wandering on unstable ground. We’re lucky to live in this modern age of creativity and innovation, since, among other things, we’ve got Nike to aid our Wanderlust with style and power.

With this latest entrant to the ACG family, we see Nike doing just as much, and more. The special sole with “claws” are designed to give our steps maximum traction. The upper is made of strong stuff, suiting the task for which this Nike is designed. In harmony with the spirit of our day, the pair comes in black and brown for men, and in a grey version for ladies.

Whether you want to scale a mountain, or just seek to overcome the problems of life with style and conviction, this Nike will be a meaningful and concise statement of lifestyle for you. It’s as if saying “I seek the heights, and I have style on my side.” Don’t miss this one!

  • Air Jordan V (5) 3M – Raging Bull DMP 2 Package
By on March 19th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

This is a truly stunning, tank-like, massive and mighty creation from the designers of Nike. The item packs a lot of power and dynamism into an extravagant conception that we’ve come to expect from the Air Jordan series.

While this Nike looks like it might cause an unexpected explosion of fanaticism from lovers of style and power, we believe that the hype will not be enough to do justice to such a perfect concept, and its flawless execution.

The powerful owner of these can sweep the roads like fire, and fly in the air like an eagle. The ground is bound to tremble under the heavy pace of this Nike. Whatever it is, you’re unlikely to come across anything like this for quite a while, given how hot and awesome the powerful design is.

It’s time to take a quick trip to your favorite retailer, right?
