  • Blue and Purple Splatter Air Force Ones
By on March 22nd, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Fresh and Fly Customz turned some down time into a simple but stunning pair of customs with the Blue and Purple Splatter Air Force Ones. These custom Air Force Ones may only use a trio of colors but Fresh and Fly wove these colors into sneaker art. I found these photos at the Fresh and Fly Customsnkr.com blog linked here.

Fresh and Fly used an electric blue paint for the heel and toe panels. The designer gradually turned the blue into purple using a splatter effect from the toe box to the middle panel. I like that Fresh and Fly kept the front side of the middle panel a bit messy while creating a straight line between blue and purple in the rear.

The Blue and Purple Splatter AF1s would be nothing without the designer’s use of silver paint. The toe box, Nike swoosh and heel tag are painted silver in stark contrast to the bright blue and purple hues elsewhere on these sneakers. While Fresh and Fly Customz may have dismissed these customs as side projects, I think the Blue and Purple Splatter Air Force Ones look as fantastic as projects made to order for sneaker fans.

  • Air Jordan 1 Do the Right Thing Pack – Metallic Red
By on March 22nd, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Luxurious, sparkly, and hot, this Air Jordan which will be released in July is an excellent statement of mission from the wonderful people at Nike. They want to bring us the best footwear with the best style and design. And with creations like this, it’s hard to see them fail.

The white pebbled leather, on which the pearlized red accents are applied give this Nike the air of a luxury item with as much shine and polish as would fit the feet of kings. The yelllow, red, blue, black stitching at the top is a really nice addition that hints back to the fantastic early days of Air Jordan. And the overall design is one of rare perfection from Nike.

We love this one, and we believe you’d love it too. There’s so much that can be said about the details of this pair, but we suspect you will see enough in the pictures to reach an easy conclusion. Catch it if you can. Via Weeklydrop.

  • Nike Air Force 09 Low – Basketball Sneaker

The Air Force 09 is an update of the Air Force 25 released three years ago by Nike. We are delighted at the power of this creation and are glad that Nike can always infuse new life to its designs through its innovative approach to classicism.

The manly, no-nonsense style of this powerful item finds an exceedignly convincing expression in the flowing contours of the design. Every single accent, every detail of the form is in striking harmony with the whole, and there you have the culmination of perfectionism from Nike.

And what would we expect for such a legend like the Air Force 1 series? Anything less would be a scandal.

These pairs come in three different colors, and are available now at Nikestore. Really, is there much to discuss in such a powerful masterpiece? This one will grant you speed and power, and we suggest you head to the retailer with as much speed as you can muster (in the absence of these). Via Sneakernews.com

  • Jeffrey x Keds Women’s Champion Oxford
By on March 22nd, 2009 | No Comments Comments

The ladies’ version of the Pro-Keds for Jeffrey collection is both the same and opposite of the man’s version in concept and design. The same dynamism and beauty which we see featured in that pair is present here as well with equal conviction, but the colours, and the design demonstrate a whole-new degree of refinement and elegance.

We especially like the bright yellow, green and orange colorways of these items, with the choice of black added for those who prefer a more coolheaded version for this spring. The design is really stylish, and the champion Oxford is sure to satisfy its owner with both the comfort and beauty that it offers.

As with the man’s version, but less distinctively, these shoes feature a Keds for Jeffrey label in the insole, showing the pride of the creators in their design. We would confidently invite you to share in their pride, and if you agree with us, you can pick your choice in April.

  • Jeffrey x Pro-Keds Royal Master Super High
By on March 22nd, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Powerful it is, and beautiful it is. The Pro-Keds, Royal Master Super High combines restraint and power in a striking blend, and really deserves its somewhat ambitious title.

This dynamic, ambitious pair comes in white and black colorways, and features a zipper for easy on/off, with a tongue label which proudly displays its title. Pro-Keds can tout its brand as much as it desires provided that it can couple the bravado to great designs like this one.

These extra-high cut sneakers will be offered exclusively at Jeffreys, and with such style, it’s a good idea to
catch them before others do. The Pro-Keds Royal Master Super High is royally cool, and we wanna give the designers a high-five for this spectacular creation. Go and get it now! Via Freshnessmag.com
