Rare Air started the Air Flight Light Jokers with nothing but a white canvas and a few lime accents. The base shoe was soon converted into a wonderful pair of customs through Rare Air’s hard work and dedication. I found these photos at the Rare Air blog on Customsnkr.com linked here.
The designer used a deep red hue on the Nike swooshes and laces to simulate the color from the hearts and diamonds in a deck of cards. Rare Air faded black into purple along the border spaces from heel to toe without showing us how it was done. The four symbols used on a standard deck of cards were painted in white against the dark border spaces.
The Air Flight Lite Jokers do not look disjointed even with the unusual mixture of base and custom colors. The lime green on the heel and eyelets may seem out of place among reds, blacks and purples but it seems to blend in just fine. Rare Air showed superior design skills as these basic shoes were turned into something stylish.
