  • Nike Hypermax “Air Max CB2 Poster”

Nike Hypermax “Air Max2 CB Poster” is a great looking pair of sneakers. It has got two looks. One look is for the outward facing side of the shoe and another look is for the inward facing side of the shoe.

Let’s discuss the outward facing part of the shoe. The midsection is occupied by a large segment of black which has yellow colored strips going down. The Nike swoosh is thick and red colored. The shoe strap at the collar of the ankle has dense yellow strips and that is very eye catching. The Nike label on the strap looks good with its electric colors. The shoe upper looks solid with its continuous and uniform flow. The midsole has a distinguishing yellow strap that rises above the midsole and slopes down back into the midsole.

On the inward facing side of the shoe, the black colored segments are in two separate portions. The two portions are divided by a white colored center piece with perforations. The red Nike swoosh below the collar of the ankle is much smaller in size. We can see the Air Max Air Unit technology in the transparent part of the midsole. The outsole is capped in fine treads and the center portion is in a nice blue color.(Images)

One look at these mids and you could have guessed the title. Yes, the Sea Crystal colorway will return again this time on a mid. The color way was first made famous on a 2004 (SB) Dunk Hi, and then returned late last year on a pair of (SB) Blazers. Now the famed colorway returns again in 2008 on a Mid. The Mid made of a compelety suede upper except the black swoosh will hit retailers sometime this Summer. VIA: Jordan8420

  • Joker 4.0 Converse All Stars
    By on February 20th, 2009 | 2 Comments2 Comments Comments

Sweatshop Clothing recently unveiled the Joker 4.0 Converse All Stars through the MySpace page linked here. The designer was getting tired of seeing the third version floating around the Internet and wanted to go bigger and badder with these All Stars. The result is a beautifully designed sneaker with the frightening face of the Joker placed on the side.

The tongues feature Sweatshop Clothing’s new logo on the tag including a classy cursive logo on the right shoe. As my eye looked down the tongues, I noticed the patchwork of purple, yellow and black that meet up with the toes. This patchwork was hand sewn by the designer to replicate the colorful socks worn by the Joker.

The exterior sides of the Joker 4.0 feature images of the villain taking out the joker card to send a message to his targets. Sweatshop Clothing blew up the joker card image and replicated it several times on the interior sides of these shoes. The care that went into hand sewing the Joker 4.0 All Stars is impressive in its own right but the detail work on these sneakers is amazing. After looking at the designer’s laser-like focus on small details like the image on the joker card, I feel confident in saying that Sweatshop Clothing trumped the Joker 3.0.
