Jordan Brand keeps the women in mind with this kids exclusive AJF20. Although it’s not exactly the quite of Cheetah, you may have had in mind its better this way. The smooth black leather that covers the upper actually has black tonal Cheetah prints on it. It’s actually my favorite part of this shoe; kind of looks like a live Cheetah got an up close and personal feel. The toe box is covered in synthetic black horsehair for some added texture and a plus for all the animal lovers out there. These just released at Extra Butter for all you NY heads, everyone else check your local JB accounts.

High Off Life Kicks created a duo of Vans Slip Ons based on characters from SpongeBob Squarepants. Today’s edition features the SpongeBob Vans Slip Ons with colors and designs lifted artfully from the title character. I found these photos at the Customsnkr.com post linked here.

High Off Life Kicks maintained the blue and red stripes from the manufacturer’s colorway. The toe box is covered in green spots on a yellow background, an homage to SpongeBob’s square body. The heel has brown paint similar to the color of SpongeBob’s pants. The whole shoe emits a glittery sheen that makes these custom Vans stand apart from the competition.

I will cover High Off Life’s other Vans customs tomorrow but I think the SpongeBobs represent the better half of this pair. While the existing and new colors may not blend completely, the design elements keep your attention long enough to ignore the reds and blues. High Off Life Kicks did a great job turning bland Vans Slip Ons into something the kid in all of us can appreciate.

The Double Goose jacket was one of the highlights of 80’s streetwear with it’s shiny, buttery soft leather. Adidas celebrates the coat and the era with this new version of the Forum Mid.

The Adidas Originals Forum Mid Double Goose features a combination of black leather and suede, along with metal eyelets and a gum sole. It’s a throwback look that is pretty slick. You can get these sneakers now at Caliroots for $185 USD. Via Sneaker News.

Here’s another set off shoes that will be released in Spring 2009 as part of the 20th Anniversary of Nike ACG. The Trail Mix pack features the Air Raverderchi and the Air Wildwood.

These shoes feature a unique mix or colors and textures. Using solid upper, along with plaid details, they certainly have an outdoorsy appeal. Look for more information on these shoes early next year with a release in Spring. Via Kix-Files.
