  • DJ Clark Kent x Air Force 25 112 Pack
By on December 21st, 2008 | No Comments Comments

DJ Clark Kent has a new pack of shoes called the 112 Pack. The DJ Clark Kent x Air Force 25 112 Pack is very new and its release is expected in 2009. The Air Force 25 silhouette was designed to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Air Force 1. This is a raw copy and there may be changes made before the shoe hits the retailers in 2009.

The website ebay sells similar pairs of shoes from the DJ Clark Kent collections.

The toe box is gold colored. The mudguard becomes a part of the toe box, having the same color and material. The heel portion occupies a large space. The brown lines of the elephant print are fitting for the background in gold. The dark chocolate Nike swoosh is outstanding against the backdrop. The same chocolate is used for the inner lining of the shoe. The yellow shoe lace and midsole coordinate and blend well.

The shoe upper is attached to the midsole by a thick seam in chocolate brown. The chocolate colored dip in the midsole tries to put in a small detail into the midsole. This is a nice design.

  • Anthracite and Mean Green Nike Dunks
By on December 21st, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Tim is a young sneaker fan who got his hands on a pair of new Nike Dunks that aren’t set for release until 2009. These anthracite/”mean” green Nike Dunks were obtained using Tim’s connections at the Foot Locker. Check out additional photos of the shoes after this post if you want to catch a glimpse of the future.

Tim’s preview of a 2009 Nike Dunk shows that the future may be a lot simpler than the past. The toe box and middle panel are dark gray and the heel is black to make the green elements pop off the shoe. Nike used green on the heel as well as the shoe laces to give wearers some color without going too over the top.

While Tim didn’t provide a lot of details on these shoes, he was gracious enough to give us plenty of photos. If you need more information on these new Nike Dunks, drop Tim an email at [email protected].

These Milkfed designed Dunk Highs for women feature the colorful fabrics of London’s Liberty. Nike and Liberty have worked together before successfully, and these sneakers should follow suit with Milkfed in the fold as well.

The mismatching colorful print fabrics look like they are suited for wallpaper or kitchen curtains, but they come together nicely in these shoes. There’s not many details about the release of these kicks, but expect them at Nike Sportswear dealers. You can get them now at BOBOS.

  • Nike Air Max 1 Year Of The Ox

    Source of images:

Nike Air Max One is commemorating the new Chinese New Year with this design. In 2009, Chinese New Year falls on January 26. According to their Lunar Year and zodiac calendar, 2009 will be the Year of the Ox. This Nike Air Max 1 Year of the Ox has some special features. Nike has sacrificed their prime advertising locations at the tongue tag and back of the heel tab. The tag has no Nike swoosh and is replaced with some Chinese graphics. The back tab at the heel has a golden ox standing against a background of radiating red rays.

Nike uses inspiration from the Chinese culture. Since red is their traditional color for luck, it is used for the shoe lace and other accents like the inner lining of the shoe.

The toe box is in bright, white color and has perforations. The grey colored strap across the toe box is an accent to highlight the toe box. The midsection and Nike swoosh have contrasting panels of different leathers.

One last detail worth mentioning is the use of a pair of gold colored lace braces for the last set of shoe lacing holes. The brace is in the shape of the figure “8”, which is a lucky number according to Chinese customs. This shoe will be popular for the Chinese all over the world.
