  • Nike Air Max 90 Current 10AC Uno Caol Mt. Fuji

Nike has collaborated with Uno Caol to design a new shoe under the 10 AC label. The two designing teams worked on the new model of Air Max 90 Current. This shoe has a white/blue/black colorway. This shoe is available for pre-orders at Kix-Files. The website said it costs around $160 per pair.

The toe box and midsection look to be joined together at a seam that is almost invisible. The toe box is made of meshed material. The midsection uses thick, woven material. The blue mudguard runs along the side of the shoe. There is a long panel cut into this blue material to allow the inclusion of the Air Max label and to show the black segment of the heel. The rounded portion of the heel is made of a black colored segment. At the back tab, there is a grey panel.

The shoe lace is a thin, blue string. The tongue is made of the same woven material and has a 10 AC tag facing the outside. The collar of the ankle is white and so is the inner lining of the shoe. The front half of the midsole has deep treads cut into the white sole. The second half of the sole has finer treads and is blue colored. This is a good looking shoe with most of the color concentrated on the second half portion of the sneaker.

  • Custom Nike Dunks – “Alice N’ Wunderland”
By on November 4th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

The Adventures of Alice In Wonderland is one of those stories almost all of you are familiar with im sure. Either youve read the book, saw the movies or just heard people talking about it. YoaKustoms has taken the trippy storybook turned movie theme and laid it down on these Nike Dunks called Alice N’ Wunderland. And yes, the incorrect spelling is the way the designer has titled them.

YoaKustoms included a lot of the key characters from the movie into the design, such as the Mad Hatter, the Cat, the Queen Of Cards, the White Rabbit and some other random characters scattered throughout the floral design. There are also a lot of little touches thrown into the design such as random tea cups, cards and hearts. I think the execution on these is great. The colorway may be a little to vibrant with this sort of design for my personal taste, but thats just me. YoaKustoms also did up a crazy pair of custom insoles too that include pretty much the same style design you see on the shoes.

  • Nike Air Force 1 Low – White – Gum Midsole

    Nike Air Force 1 - White - Gum Midsole - #1

A few weeks ago we told you about the Nike Air Force 1 Low in white with the gum midsole. At the time, it was out at some international shops and select accounts. But starting this Saturday, you can get it at local Nike retailers in the States for $88.

These shoes are a bit unusual because the gum sole is usually reserved for the outersole. But these sneakers use it on the midsole and then have a brown outsole to much the Swoosh, laces and heel tab. Via KATC

  • Chi-City Nike Vandals
By on November 4th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Sole Creations customized a pair of Nike Vandals for a client in Michigan who loves the Chicago White Sox. The result is the Chi-City Vandals, a pair of shoes that would make the biggest Carlos Quentin fan smile. I found these photos at the Sole Creations blog on Customsnkr.com linked here.

The designer mixed the Windy City’s environment with the White Sox motif without creating a clunky custom. The heel on the right shoe features the Chicago skyline at dusk complete with puffy clouds and vibrant colors. The left heel shows the same skyline setting against a white background to show the city’s love for the White Sox.

Sole Creations added the Sox logo to the toe box while writing out White Sox in front of each swoosh. The addition of another Sox logo just above the front of each swoosh is a bit cluttered but this minor issue is overcome by the White Sox player hitting a ball along the swoosh’s path. My favorite part of these custom Vandals is the addition of the client’s name on both heels with the “KAK KAK KAK” simulating the echoed sounds of PA announcer Gene Honda.

  • Air Jordan Six Rings – White/University Blue – PE – Chris Paul
By on November 3rd, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Chris Paul is deinitely a worthy player. Not only does he get his own line of Nike Basketball shoes, he also gets Player Exclusive versions of the hottest Jordan Brand kicks. In his recent game against LeBron James and the Cavaliers, Chris Paul was spotted in some fresh to death Air Jordan Six Ring. The shoe loks like it has a university blue mid-sole with an all white upper featuring patent leather and nylon canvas as well as more university blue accents to go along with the Hornet’s colors. Maybe it was the clean Player Exclusive Six Rings that helped Chris Paul and the Hornets carry themselves to 104 to 92 victory over LeBron’s Cavs. Regardless, even though these may be some of the cleanest Six Rings you have seen thus far, good luck copping them unless you have courtside seats to every Hornets game for the rest of the season.
