This Pack may drop in during the Spring/Summer 2009 or earlier. The Nike store will carry more information when they are ready to release this Pack. This Nike Cortez Free Flywire is a classic design that has been combined with a new innovation. The Cortez gets a Free sole. The Nike Flywire technology is on the shoe upper. The designer aimed to create a comfortable and very light version of the older Cortez model. There are two main colorways that will be prepared.

The white colorway has red and blue accents. The toe box has three separate regions because the central portion is white while the two sides sandwiching it are light grey colored. The midsection has white vertical lines and over this, the Nike swoosh runs in a streak of bright red. The midsole right below the Nike swoosh has a narrow line of blue accent. The rest of the midsole is white, with sharp ridges on its outsole showing.

The navy blue colorway is cool and dark. Its accents are black and white. This shoe looks more formal due to its combination and choice of colors. This can easily become a favorite design.

  • Gold Medal Air Force Ones
By on October 12th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

High Off Life Kicks spent some time in the last two months producing a pair of Nike Air Force Ones in honor of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The designer celebrates the accomplishments of America’s athletes with the Gold Medal Air Force Ones. These custom sneakers were posted on the High Off Life Kicks blog linked here.

High Off Life Kicks did not spare the gold when customizing these Air Force Ones. You can find dozens of gold spots on the outsole if you need a glitz fix. The designer added a solid block of gold paint on the toe box as well as the heel tag. This focus on the gold shows that High Off Life Kicks shares the desire to be number one with Team USA.

All of this gold would go to waste if these shoes didn’t have a little red, white and blue. High Off Life Kicks used a red swoosh and a blue middle panel to make sure that viewers think about America’s successes in the 2008 Olympics. These Air Force Ones will stand as a creative way for Olympic fans to remember Michael Phelps, the USA basketball team and other members of Team USA.
