  • Tech N9ne Dunks by Evolved Footwear
By on September 12th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Evolved Footwear is celebrating Tech N9ne’s latest release, Killer, with an impressive pair of custom Nike Dunks. These Dunks were found in the designer’s latest post on Nike Talk linked here. The designer noted that he rushed to complete these projects before Tech N9ne’s show in Kansas City but they look like they took a long time to complete.

Tech N9ne’s double album title is imprinted in white set against a red backdrop on the left shoe. Evolved Footwear used red to write out the rapper’s name on the right shoe. The name “Tech N9ne” stands out well against the pitch black color used as the background. Both shoes have red back panels to create a uniform look as Tech N9ne walks past his fans.

The best element of the shoe is only noticeable when you turn out the lights. Evolved Footwear added some glow-in-the-dark letters to the tongues to help Tech N9ne represent his hometown day or night. The rapper can see the letters K and C in red glowing glory every time he turns out his lights.

I only know a little about Tech N9ne but I think these shoes will help him represent his album and his hometown well. I am impressed with the designer’s ability to mix elements like graffiti paint and glow-in-the-dark lights seamlessly on the same shoe. Check out the photos below to see the Tech N9ne Dunks in full effect.

    Madfoot Mad Raider - #1

Madfoot of Japan uses exotic materials and colorful accents on their sneakers. Now they are giving the same treatment to hiking boots. This season, the Mad Raider boot comes in three colorways – black, sand and brown. Each one mixes top quality leather with exotic leathers and other nice details.

Eproze has these boots available in stock now. My favorite of the three is the black edition pictured above; however all three are nice. The colorful laces add the finishing touch to these boots. Via High Snobiety.

He is one of the greatest running backs of all time, most of the time he simply goes by ‘LT’, short for LaDainian Tomlinson. Designer “JB” from the Innovation Kitchen (iK) in a special protected area of the Nike Campus has decided to create a special 1-of-1 Air Force 1 for the achievements of LT, who also happens to be a big Air Force 1 fan. The Air Force 1s come in an amazing case which features a fierce looking Knight chess piece delicately laser-etched onto both sides of the case. The sliding mechanism features a laser-etched “LT” logo which when opened review the special AF1s. The Air Force 1s feature a metallic blue on the upper also with laser-etched art and the Knight chess piece, the swoosh and the heel tab feature light metallic gold.

  • Nike Air Force 1 – Coach K 800th Win Commemorative Shoe
By on September 12th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

The folks in the Innovation Kitchen at Nike have gotten together with Chi McBride, a true sneakerhead, to commemorate Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski and his 800th win as a collegiate basketball coach with this 1 of 1 Nike Air Force 1. The shoes speak for themselves as they different than any other Air Force 1 we’ve seen and even the special box they come in is a 1 of 1 production. The box is made up of actual wooden basketball floor with various laser engravings and a specific emphasis on the 800th win for Coach K. Don’t expect to see these anywhere else but in Coach K’s closet.

  • Nike Air Revaderchi Supreme – brown/black colorway
By on September 11th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

    here.

The Nike Air Revaderchi has released the Air Revaderchi Supreme. The shoes will be on sale at a later date. This model of the shoe has brown and black on its colorway.

The shoe starts with a toe cap that is delineated by a double row of white machine stitches. The toe box is hemmed in with a surrounding panel. The actual upper surface of the toe box is a small segment that has perforations. The tongue and ankle collar appear to be the same piece of material. The front and midsection is separated by a side panel which acts like a mudguard too. There is a panel of special woven material in the center of the midsection. This is an interesting accent in the middle of the shoe. The base of the heel is reinforced by a black colored panel. A shoe strap is interlaced through this black segment.

The Nike Air Revaderchi design has a thick midsole at the base of the heel. The thick white layer culminates in a thinner black layer. This shoe uses smooth, brown leather that has a subtle finish. It has the look for a dress shoe more than a sports shoe.
