    Nike NYX Air Pegasus 83 - #1

Nike has created another lifestyle collection – NYX, in addition to their Nike 6.0. These shoes are more of a traditional lifesyle series rather than so much skate influence.

This version of the Nike NYX Air Pegasus 83 is a black, anthracite and pine green colorway that is simple and stylish. This shoe offers an interesting combination of colors and textures, while not looking as flashy and tacky as most 80’s sneakers. These shoes are available right now at Finishline for $64.99. • Nike Court Force High Grey/Metallic Silver

    Source of Images: here.

This Nike Court Force High in Grey / Metallic Silver is classy and good looking. It is sold at Size? for $130 per pair. The shoe upper has a mixture of nubuck, suede and leather. There are some metallic stitching on the tongue.

The toe box is made out of smooth leather. This is contrasted with the mudguard, which uses rough leather. The long stretch of silver shoe lace adds class to the shoe. The collar around the ankle is thick and uses a darker shade of silver. The Nike swoosh is composed of a strip of shiny, silver leather. Directly below the swoosh is a group of perforations.

The midsole is divided into 2 layers. The top layer is lighter colored while the lower is slightly darker in color. The treads on the shoe look concentrated at the toe and more spaced out at the heel.

The inner lining of the sneaker has a layer of thick mesh material. I like the shoe as the neutral tone of silver makes it look clean and classy. I think this shoe can be used in a wide variety of places and functions. The light color makes easy to use to match different colors in the wardrobe.

  • Air Jordan Six Rings “Laser”
By on August 8th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

The first Air Jordan Six Rings will hit store shelves August 16. Like the ones releasing on the 16th these too feature a white, black and red color way. However there is a big difference between the too. This Air Jordan Six Rings is dressed up in the ever so classy black patent and white with red accents. A black laser print can be seen covering the upper portion. Although the Six Rings have been met with more than mixed reviews this colorway is sure to convert a few none believers. No info on availability or pricing at this time so stay tuned.

  • Nike Air Pippen 1: Scottie Gets Some Love

    Nike Air Pippen 1
Food for thought: What would the legacy of the Air Jordan line be if Scottie Pippen was never around to help Mike win those six championship rings? Yep, we thought so. Sure, we can assume that MJ probablywould have found a way to win, but he also may have just been remembered as a flashy high scorer who came short (just like when he scored 63 against the Celtics). That’s why it’s fitting that Nike has brought back the Nike Air Pippen 1 to pay homage to the Bulls’ #2 man, for the first time, no less. Scottie may have always lived in Michael Jordan’s shadow, but he was just as valuable as Worthy to Magic, McHale to Bird, if not more so. These sick 90’s retros will be back at UBIQ in-store tomorrow. It’s about freakin’ time, Nike!
