  • Fourth of July Pack- Nike Air Max 97
By on July 7th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

    here

As tribute to the United States Independence Day, the Fourth of July, Nike released a Nike Air Max 97 in the traditional United States red, white and blue. Featuring a red Nike Air sole that covers the entire bottom of the shoe, a white base, blue Nike swoosh and grey mesh, the shoes have started to release this week together with a Nike Dunk and Air Max 97 for the women.

The shoes are rather plain and a little dull. Not much sets these apart from the other Air Max 97s. Only those who have tremendous patriotism should pick these shoes up.

Sneaker Freaker Spain Issue 1 was released on July 3. There was a preview of the eS x Livestock x The Hundreds double pack. Live stock and The Hundreds decided to join with eS to make a trio in the team.In September, these three companies will collaborate and design a double pack.

Before September comes, eS and Livestock have prepared a new shoe; the eS x Livestock. This shoe has two shades of blue, pink, white, orange and green colors. The toe box is in light blue. There are major portions of the shoe in light blue. The main section of the shoe is in sky blue. At the ankle, there is a panel of white. The light blue panels wrap over the shoe. At the heel, the light blue segments leave a narrow gap and this underlying layer is pink. The inner lining of the sneaker is sky blue.

The midsole is black and there is a thin and narrow orange colored line that encircles the midsole. This line is an accent that improves the look of the midsole. The outsole is sky blue in color. There is a short tab of green colored material at the base of the outsole. This is a nice pair of shoes based on the blue color scheme.

Nike Air Max TN - 10th Anniversary Edition - #1

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Nike Air Max TN, they are releasing these sneakers dubbed “Les Requins” in France.

Theses shoes feature several color combinations in a unique trixel camo design. My personal favorite is the blue colorway, but they have several colors that are interesting.

These sneakers will release with optional gear, such as a jacket that transforms into a bag. Via Eukicks and BKRW.

  • Triggerfish Nike Dunks
By on July 6th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

TTK used the colorful clown triggerfish as his inspiration when designing the custom Dunks posted here. These Nike Dunks are called “Triggerfish” and create an artistic representation of the fish’s peculiar physical features. A simple search of Google Images under “clown triggerfish” will show any reader that TTK got it right with these Nike Dunks.

The oblong white spots set against black paint is a fantastic simulation of the triggerfish’s primary colors. TTK went further to highlight the clown triggerfish by adding light blue, coral and yellow paint throughout the shoe. The lighter colors on the toe boxes and swooshes are welcome additions on sneakers that could have ended up pretty bland.

TTK matched his past efforts with the Triggerfish Nike Dunks. You can learn more about this beautiful pair of sneakers by heading to TTK’s website linked here.

  • Nike SB Dunk High “Marge Simpson”
By on July 6th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

    here

Following the release of the widely sought after Nike SB Dunk Low “Homers”, Nike will release the Nike SB Dunk High “Marge Simpson.” The shoes feature a yellow base, blue accents, and a light-green Nike swoosh. Nike will try to capitalize on the success of the Homers with these follow-up Simpsons shoes, but ultimately, the Homers are much simpler and nicer. The color scheme of the Marge is not easy on the eyes.

Already released at a Nike SB retailer in Singapore, there is no news confirming a US release. What sneaker-heads and Simpsons fans alike will definitely want is a Bart Simpson Nike SB Dunk Low release. Let’s hope Nike answers are prayers.
