The Nike Hyperdunk 2015 NYC Release images from:
The Hyperdunk is a series designed by Nike’s creative director, Eric Avar. The Hyperdunk is meant to be one of the lightest and best basketball sneakers from Nike. Kobe Bryant, one of Nike’s representative athletes in basketball, first tested them on April 10. The Hyperdunk will be released in stores on July 27.
The Hyperdunk 2015 will be sold at the Nike House of Hoops in NYC, in Niketown and Nike retailers.
The first launch of the Hyperdunk has limited colorways. One edition that will be released early is the Hyperdunk 2015. This model continues the tradition of the Hyperdunks by borrowing some of the symbolic coloring that made theHyperdunks look special.
The Hyperdunk has an upper that is matte grey and white. It re-used the idea of the grey and teal colored midsole. The midsection of the shoe has glow-in-the-dark panels. I like this component of the shoe the best of all. The pictures show the shoe in varying degrees of light.
Part of Eric Avar’s idea for the shoe comes from a movie called Back To The Future II. There are graphics from the movie character McFly’s hover board. This is placed on the sock liner.
After the jump, there is a picture of Kobe Bryant posing at the launch’s promotional photo shoot.
