    here

The newest addition to Paul Rodriguez signature line is the Nike P-Rod 2 JR (Paul Rodriguez) – White / Black. The shoes feature a very clean black and white colorway. The Nike swoosh is made of black leather. Paul Rodriguez’ personal signature is also featured on the tongue.

The shoes, designed and tested my Paul Rodriguez, also has an EVA midsole, Nike Zoom integrated soles, and a quilted sock liner to increase the comfort level of the shoes. In addition, the tongue is padded to increase shock absorption. Not only are the shoes aesthetically pleasing, but they are also very functional. They are now available in select Nike accounts.

  • Adidas Adicolor Low Fall ‘08

    Source of images: here.

The Adidas Adicolor Low Fall 2008 shoes are sold at Styles.

Adidas has started a Craftmanship series. This Adicolor Low is part of the Craftmanship collection. These two premium versions of the Adicolor Low are in the Fall/ Winter 2008 collection. One version is in raw selvedge denim and the other is in white snakeskin.

First, we will discuss about the white colorway. The toe box has smooth leather. The mudguard is in off-white color. The three stripes of Adidas are made in smooth, white leather and they are cut with a decorative cutter. They have jagged edges. The snakeskin is on the main body of the shoe. The heel has a large back tab made of smooth leather and the Adidas logo. The keychain has a large motif of Adidas. I think it makes a nice keychain when detached from the shoe. The midsole is light beige in color. Overall, the shoe looks classy and nice. This pair costs 17, 850 Yen.

The black denim shoe is also good looking. It has light brown and white as its accents. Its inner lining is brown. The midsole is white in color and the Adidas logo near the heel makes an interesting detail to the midsole. This pair costs 18,900 Yen. I prefer the black colorway.

    Nike Hyperdunk Pre-order at Finishline - #1

Two new colorways of the Nike Hyperdunk are available for pre-order right now at Finishline.

These shoes are the Black/Anthracite and the White/Dark Obsidian versions that the U.S. Olympic Team will wear during the upcoming 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

Hyperdunks are the lightest, most technologically advanced basketball shoe, but they don’t come with a huge price tag. Some of the special editions have been priced at $200 and up, but these two colorways (and all other regular Hyperdunks) retail for $109.99. So if you are looking for a hot new shoe, that is comfortable, performs well and is stylish, reserve your pair of Hyperdunks at Finishline now. Via Nice Kicks.

  • Rolling Stone Nike Dunk Lows
By on July 12th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Designer Flawless Victory turned his love of The Rolling Stones into the custom Nike Dunk Lows shown in this post. Flawless Victory created these custom kicks for his own use from an older pair of Dunks found in his closet. The two influences for the Rolling Stone Dunk Lows were concert posters for old Stones shows as well as the cover for 1971’s Sticky Fingers.

The latter inspiration for Flawless Victory explains some of the sloppy finishing on these Dunks. The album cover for Sticky Fingers features a pair of jeans with the band’s name and the album title in red ink. Flawless Victory used the denim theme throughout the shoe to counteract the bright yellow colors on the toe boxes. I love the use of lyrics from “Sympathy for the Devil” on both tongues.

These pictures were found in a posting by Flawless Victory on Nike Talk. These shoes may need to be cleaned up a bit to be worn on a regular basis but I like where the designer is heading.

Nike Air Classic BW - Negro Leagues - #1

In recent years, more and more attention has been shown to the classic Negro League days. The Negro Leagues were where African-American baseball players played before the integration of Major League Baseball. Nike is celebrating the Negro Leagues with this vintage release.

These Nike Air Classic BW sneakers are intentionally aged to go with the old school flavor of the Negro Leagues look. With a colorway centered around maroon and different shades of white, these kicks certainly aren’t flashy but they do have a deep meaning. If you want to honor the Negro Leagues, considering purchasing a pair of these Nikes. Release date isn’t known, as of yet but we’ll keep you posted. Via Sneaker News and STREEThing.
