This pack has 2 colorways that pertain to the Air Structure Triax design.They will be available in summer.

The brown colorway has several other colors in the accents. The toe box is brown with light colored specks of black. This makes the material look like reptile skin. The toe box is framed by a panel of brown colored leather. This segment looks like a bird with a beak in outline. The shoe lace region has a large and curved panel of leather in grey-black color. At the last pair of shoe lace holes, there is an extra purple colored panel. The lace is purple colored and looks good against the brown colorway of the shoe upper. The Nike swoosh is light brown. The midsole is white and there is an accent in the form of an arch-shaped, pink colored panel.The inner lining of the shoe is brown. I think this is the better looking shoe because of the brown colored shoe upper.

The grey colorway has a pattern on it and this gives the material a textured look. The overlying layer is a black colored panel. It is striking against the light colored grey upper. The shoe lace is green and works well with the grey and black colors. (more…)

There are millions of comic book and movie fans anticipating eagerly the July 18th release of The Dark Knight. I am a huge fan of Batman Begins and the second coming of the Batman movie series is fantastic. Custom designer TWiTCH has voiced this collective anticipation for this movie with a pair of Dark Knight customs using the Vans Skate Hi.

The images below show the various portraits and profiles of Batman. The first image below is my favorite because the outline of Batman within the darkness of Gotham City is representative of the character’s dark nature. The remaining images mix the starkness of comics like Sin City with the familiar image of The Dark Knight.

TWiTCH has created a fantastic pair of customs that should inspire copycats over the next few months. The designer’s MySpace page is linked here and allows access to the designer for orders and additional questions.

The Nike Tennis Classic CL Pack has 2 colorways. These are available at Atmos.

The black colorway is a traditional but classy design.It is sleek. The main shoe upper looks like it is made from one entire piece. Along the midsection, there are several lines of machine stitches. These add decoration and detail to the shoe. The highlight of the shoe is the silver Nike swoosh. The leather at the toe box is smooth in texture, while the leather used in the main body of the sneaker has a granular texture. The black shoe lace blends right into the black background.The black colored tongue has a grey colored tab at its tip. The Nike brand name is proudly displayed in white letters. The midsole is a thick, white layer. It has a line of black colored machine stitches running around it to give a frame and perspective to the midsole. The shoe’s inner lining is black.

The white colorway looks identical to the black colored counterpart. The Nike swoosh is in dark blue. This is the most distinguishing feature on this sneaker, as the rest of it is white colored. The inner lining is light grey in color.

I like the black colorway. The black and silver combination denotes class and formality. This shoe will serve well in a wide variety of uses. (more…)
