The first Nike Dunk was released in 1985. This season, Nike has a new design. It has remixed two major Nike sports – basketball and football. The result is a combo that shows two extremes on one shoe. It uses the principles of sports and innovation to be true.

This new collection takes inspiration from the European football games during the summer of 2008. The designs will also be inspired by Asian football and all over the world. The last in the collection would be a design that is influenced by the greatest football nation – Brazil.

I have written about the Nike Dunk Hi Supreme 2008 – “Euro Champ.” It is the white colorway with red-white checks in the midsole.

The Dunk in the Varsity Blue, Maize, and Grey will debut in summer. I like this combination of colors as the blues are pleasing to the eye.

The Dunk in brown suede looks luxurious. The clean, brown color makes it a favorite to use as a casual or formal footwear.
I think I like the Euro Champ the best of all. It has the classy look and a dash of party in its red-white checked midsole.

Japanese retailer United Arrows has teamed with Converse to create this new version of the Weapon Hi. These sneakers reflect the sophisticated style of United Arrows, using three subtle colorways – black, grey and navy blue. Personally I prefer the black version, and the navy aren’t bad either. However, the grey is much too drab.
