  • Custom Adidas for the Summer Season
By on May 5th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

    desp1.jpg

A designer with the online handle of desp1 posted these custom Adidas to Fresh and Fly recently. The theme of these custom sneakers is summertime and the designer has succeeded in depicting the cool waters of a swimming pool. The division between the dark blue stripes and the lighter blue back panel shows some sophistication on the part of the designer.

The tri-stripe design as well as the background of the front panel are painted with a dark blue paint that looks like a large island in the middle of the light blue water. Desp1 uses white lines and light blue ovals to make the back panel look like the bottom of a crystal clear swimming pool. These shoes made me think about the warm weather in the months ahead so desp1 has done his job.

Nike Dunk Hi “Spider” - #2

Check out these Nike Dunks. One quick glance and it’s no mystery when the shoe goes by the name “Spider”. With not only a big spider featured but other spider touches throughout, these kicks are definitely not your standard pair of shoes.

The color scheme of these shoes is white, iron gray and dark red. The white and iron gray are the two most prevalent colors, with the red showing up on the shoelaces and around the ankles. The spider is designed with yellows and oranges and is placed on the front of the shoes. The spider has the number 33 on it. A web pattern embroidery is seen over portions of the shoe. Near the heel a fly is seen caught in the web.

The main color scheme of these shoes is black and orange. The Nike swoosh is orange and there is also orange on the back of the shoe. The tongue is where the gradient appears – which goes from yellow all the way to orange. White is also utilized on these shoes near the sole and on the laces. • Nike Air Bound 2 – red and grey colorways

Nike Air Bound 2 - red colorway
These new Nike Air Bound 2 shoes just dropped into rakuten store.

The first pair has a white colorway. Its accents are red and black. The tongue is red but ends with a large tab in white and a signature “Flight” on the tag. The panel around the ankle is red while the inner lining is black. The black accents on the sneaker are in its Nike swoosh, and two pairs of shoe lace braces. I like the interplay of the black and red accents. It makes the shoe look attractive but it retains its formal look. The toe box has a white and black midsole while the main body of the shoe has a red midsole.

The second shoe has a grey colorway. Its accents are white, dark grey and black. It looks serious as its colors are dull and somber. The toe box is grey. The tongue is black so the shoe lace is also black to complement the look. The white sections are the Nike swoosh, accents on the shoe lace braces and the inner lining of the shoe. There is a black panel around the ankle. The outsole looks good with black, white and grey colors. On the overall, the shoe is good for use at formal events or at work.
