Air Jordan I Retro Tweed - Fathers Day

Last month there was a peak at a black and white colorway of the Air Jordan I Retro for Father’s Day. Here’s another version for the upcoming holiday, but this time it’s a mustard colored tweed for a very interesting look.

The tweed is used on the side panel, tongue and toe box. White leather is also used in these sneakers, as well as red contrast stitching to create the Swoosh and Jordan logo on the tongue. There is also a red pin stripe around the white midsole.

These Air Jordan I’s are expected to be released on June 7th at $100. They will be out in time for Father’s Day, which is on Sunday, June 15th this year. Pick up a pair for your Pops or for yourself. Via Sneaker Files.

Air Jordan Flight 23 - May 2008, black colorway
    Air Jordan Flight 23 – Black/Metallic Silver-Bright Cactus-White.

Air Jordan Flight 23 has 4 different colors that are newly released. These shoes are sold at USD 118 each. The Flight 23 belongs to the category of Jordan casual sneakers. These sneakers are an alternative to the Countdown Packs that were inspired by classic Jordan models. They are more affordable than the expensive counterparts.

Air Jordan Flight 23 – Black/Metallic Silver-Bright Cactus-White: The highlight of this shoe is its green cactus translucent outsole. The shoe has many small rectangular holes that have rims/borders in bright cactus (green color). The Air Jordan figure is in silver color.

Air Jordan Flight 23 – White/Metallic Silver-Stealth-Orange Peel: I like the metallic silver and orange peel highlights on the shoe. The midsole and outsole have the a variety of colors ranging from the white, translucent plastic, silver to the orange.

Air Jordan Flight 23 – White/Metallic Silver-Blue Ribbon-Varsity Red: The bright red and blue accents make this shoe look striking. This is the shoe to make a statement.

Air Jordan Flight 23 – White/Metallic Silver-White:The white and metallic silver colors make this shoe look subdued. The look is sleek and sophisticated in a quiet way.

Of all these colorways, I would choose the black one.

The series of pictures posted above show the third installment of Chrisco’s Star Wars Pack. These custom Air Force Ones are the hottest of the bunch and use the Imperial storm trooper suit as inspiration. The Storm Trooper custom uses white and black paint to create sneakers recognizable to any fan of the Star Wars series.

The tongue features the six-spoked symbol that indicates a legitimate storm trooper in the Star Wars universe. The heel tag has a well-drawn picture of a storm trooper’s helmet that is an impressive feat for Chrisco. There are several small touches like black vents just above the outsole and black dots on the heel that make these Air Force Ones look Imperial.

Chrisco puts a few final touches on the Storm Trooper Air Force Ones that should please all sneaker fans. The helmet design used on the heel tag is replicated on the insole with a red border to separate the symbol from the black background. Chrisco puts his signature on the tongue to leave his mark on a fantastic pair of custom sneakers.
