The latest Adidas Consortium Collection is the Casual Series. This collection features classic Adidas model, such as the Bamba, Samba, Tobacco, Forest Hills and Jean, in premium materials, interesting patterns and different textures.

These shoes feature jersey, plaid, tartan, corduroy and other materials. The red and grey tartan pattern is definitely my favorite, but several of these shoes are nice choices. These sneakers will be on the shelves of premier sneaker boutiques in upcoming weeks. Via HighSnobiety

Nike has collaborated with a retailer from New York – Dave’s Quality Meat (DQM). They have prepared a limited release of the Nike Blazer Hi. The original version was released in 1973. This Nike Blazer Hi is Nike’s first Hoops shoe. It is Nike’s first basketball sneaker. The style is respected as an icon.

The team of designers spent time in the Nike Design library at World Headquarters, Beaverton, Oregon. They chose to use this full grain leather and the classic Safari print on premium suede. The design team then split into two groups. The 2 groups then worked separately to see which team could create the best color way for the Nike and DQM Blazer Mid. They came up with 3 versions in 3 colorways.

The black colorway is a formal looking sneaker. The shoe upper has the Safari patterns and this makes the upper look good. The Nike swoosh’s bright blue is an attractive accent for the shoe. The pink colored back stab, tongue label and inner lining complement one another nicely.

The violet colorway has a white Nike swoosh. The yellow tongue tab and back stab complement each other. The inner lining is black colored. I prefer the black colorway of this DQM x NikeBlazer Tier 0 shoe.

Fresh and Fly Customs has created a pair of custom Nikes that utilize purple, black and gold in simple patterns. The toe box and middle panel are given royal purple paint that helps the gold Nike swoosh stand out for observers. The gold swoosh runs back to a deposit of gold paint on the heel tag. Fresh and Fly used matching purple paint on the Nike Air symbol on the heel to complete the effect.

I like the work presented by Fresh and Fly Customs because it is clean cut. The glimmer of the gold paint and the cool nature of the purple hue are left to their own devices without excessive flourishes and design elements. I look forward to seeing more work from Fresh and Fly Customs in the future.
