Lacoste is unveiling a trio of Revan 3 sneakers for Spring 2008 starting on April 4th. These low-top tennis shoes will be unveiled in Size? stores throughout the United Kingdom to increase interest in a wider release at a later point. The bright green and purple/gray colorways are shown below while the black/blue and bright green colorways are shown above.

The Lacoste brand name is synonymous with leisure and class. The Revan 3 continues the Lacoste tradition with premium leathers, exuberant colors and contrasts between classic and 21st century colors. The black Revan 3 shows the starkest contract between these two colors with large holes punched into the black leather exposing an electric blue lining.

More information and additional pictures of the Lacoste Revan 3 are available at the Size? website linked here. The premium sneaker store is getting love from Lacoste with logo placement on the interior of the shoe as well as the shoe laces. These shoes will retail for nearly $140 but it won’t ship to customers outside of the United Kingdom. Keep an eye out for these shoes on the Internet if you are willing to fork over more money than sticker price for these springtime shoes.

    Nike AF1 summer collections - 1
Nike Air Force One has dived into the history of Nike to collaborate and re-create new editions for summer 2008.

This summer’s collection will use inspirations from sneakers to design new sneakers. Nike wants to honor the styles that have had the most impact in the company’s history. They had to research by designers, categories and innovative creations. This collection is by no means an old remake of antiques but a new attempt into the company’s creations. Nike wants to use its own rich resources to appreciate them and discover a new direction in Nike designs.

Tinker Hatfield, the Vice President of Innovation, has allowed the use of unusual materials like safari (Safari), metal mesh (Spiridon) and tennis ball inspired fabric (Talaria). Using new materials or using rare materials that other companies don’t use is important. It will give a competitive edge to Nike.

This summer collection has the Mowabb and Wildwood styles.New materials like industrial leathers are used for the first time.
Other features that the designers used were the light weight materials, reflectivity, bold colors, infra red colors, gradual change of colors and the silver bullet reflectivity.

Nike’s summer 2008 collection is below.
