Nike Court Force Hi “Mexican Blanket Pack”
This Court Force High “Mexican Blanket” comes in a mix of interesting colors and patterns. The launch date for these shoes has not been released yet.

The toe box starts with a rough, black leather border. Above it is the white colored toe box. It is in contrasting smooth leather. There is only one line of perforations. The midsection has very colorful patterns. There are at least 3 panels of patterns. These panels are arranged slanting at an angle to the shoe. The first panel shows a chain of diamond shapes. This pattern can also be found in the tongue of the shoe. The second panel has a chain of 4 petaled flowers with yellow bases. The third panel shows the black silhouette of a stack of three blocks.

This third panel merges with the heel of the shoe. The leather here is white with regular columns of perforations. Around the ankle of the shoe, there is a panel with blue colored tie and dye patterns. Above this blue is a black colored panel.

I like the unique shoe laces. They are made of leather threads. At the end of each shoe lace, there are three beads.

  • Renovated and Customized Nike Air Force Ones

YungMoney23 on Nike Talk introduced himself to the world of customized sneakers with the renovated Air Force Ones shown above. The designer says that the base shoe was an older pair of Air Force Ones that needed to be spruced up. I like the colorway used as well as the fine touches applied to these great shoes.

The designer started by painting the back panel with chocolate brown paint to set off the white Nike swoosh. The center section of the shoe is given a coat of cream-colored paint to give the shoe a softer touch. Another section of brown is applied to the front third of these custom Air Force Ones to complete the look.

A look at the overhead picture above shows another interesting twist offered by this first-time designer. A fresh pair of insoles with matching brown color helps set off the entire design. I think we will be seeing more of YungMoney23 in the future if he can get past the difficult sophomore slump.

  • Air Jordan 1 – Black/White – POPS – Father’s Day

    Air Jordan 1 - Black/White - POPS - Father’s Day - #1

If you got a father who loves shoes, consider picking up a pair of these Air Jordan 1s. Called “POPS”, these shoes will be released in early June, just in time for Father’s Day. These kicks were made to give props to the fathers around the globe.

While the color scheme is simple (black, grey and white), the detail is impressive. There are a number of textures at work, including a grey mesh on the side of the shoe. The Nike swoosh might be the most flashy part of these kicks. The swoosh isn’t a color, instead it is composed of clear plastic. Via Sneakers News.

Nike Blazer High - Lemon Frost #1

If you like bright colors, you’ll love these Nike Blazers.Called “Lemon Frost”, there’s no confusing where the name came from. With a colorway consisting of bright yellow, sea green and white, you are sure to be seen if you rock these kicks.

While most of the shoe is yellow, there are multiple shades of sea green at work. The Nike swoosh is white and there is a white ring along the bottom of the shoes. If you look closely on the side of the shoes, there is a gradient that goes from bright yellow to sea green. I also like the use of glossy patent leather. These shoes are definitely unique, to say the least. You should be able to find these at local Nike retailers or on ebay. Via Sneaker News.

Nike Air Max 90 Euro Champs Quickstrikes - black/silver &grey/silver
This is a set of Nike Air Max 90 Quickstrikes. They were specially made for the Euro Champ tournament for this summer.

One is a grey/ silver colorway and the other is a black/ silver colorway. Both share similar features. They have a yellow tag on the tongue and paint spots on the midsole. This Pack will be released on April 26, 2008.

The sneaker with the black colorway has red paint spots on the midsole. I like the random sprinkling of paint. The splashes are a bright color and nice accent to the otherwise quiet colorway.

Above the midsole, there is a panel of silver colored leather. This silver makes a nice border transition that separates the midsole from the shoe upper.

The shoe lace holes are also unique. There are a few extra holes that have been punctured into the leather for decoration.
The yellow tag at the tongue is a bright colored accent. This color is chosen as it is the brightest color to contrast against the dark colorway.

The sneaker with the grey/ silver colorway is identical to the one already described above. The only difference is that it has blue spots of paint on the midsole.

I like these formal looking shoes.
