Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto are opening their first Y-3 store today, February 6th, in New York City’s Meatpacking District. To celebrate the opening, Y-3 is introducing a very limited shoe called “Nice to Meet You.” Only 50 pairs of this shoe are available and you can only get them at the new New York Y-3 store.

The shoes are very simple made from all over denim with black leather trim. On the black tongue is a bold “I ♥ NY” tag.“Yohji Yamamoto” is printed in small red block letters on the side.These shoes are priced at $500 and only available at the store.Via Eighty’s Fresh.

The shoe maker Clae has dropped a preview of its Spring 2008 collection at its website this past week. You can find a number of premium casual shoes with soft leather exteriors and basic colors. While others have lauded the Parker and the Cousteau as hot shoes from Clae, I dig the Miles shown above.

The Miles is a simple white shoe with navy trim along the outsole. There is a Velcro strap over the shoe laces to help keep the Miles in place as you speed from errand to errand. I know that colorful offerings like the Cousteau may attract the attention of sneaker fans but I think the Miles stands out as a symbol of simple design. Check out these shoes in local stores as they drop this month.

If you want a running shoe feel with an everyday look, check out these PUMA XR Runners. Already available at various PUMA shops, these two colorways utilize tweed as a main element in the shoe.

The version that utilizes brown is an extremely laidback looking shoe. The brown is mixed with white, beige and shady blue to create a modern feel. The tweed that is used in these shoes blends all of the other colors into one pattern. The dual-colored laces are also a good look.

The other version (pictured above), which uses black as its main color, is much more ferocious. Using black and dark grey as a backdrop, PUMA put tweed with a wild grouping of bright colors including pink, purple and orange.

Nike has released the ball pack which consists of different sports such as tennis, basketball, and football. This one in particular is the basketball edition. They feature a black/cracked gold leather and basketball material. The Basketball Court Force High and“Ball Pack” are now available at select Nike accounts. via theshoegame

Can somebody say snap, crackle, pop? Nike has made some Air Max 1’s dedicated to the the cereal, kinda. It features an orange upper with Knicks blue accents, a crackled design on the heel, and a gold tongue tag. Look for these along with a matching shirt at retailers.
