For the opening of their Osaka store, Sophnet made a collaboration with Nike on the Air Revaderchi. They feature a mixture of kangaroo and full grain leather on the uppers along with a gray and a white colorway with matching t-shirts. This sneaker has an all white colorway. The accents are in red. The shoe upper is covered in hearts but the print is very subtle. Only the outlines of hearts are used. To avoid making the print boring, there are several sizes of hearts. They come in small clusters that are grouped together to make the hearts look interesting. From a slight distance, the fine print of the hearts cannot be seen and the shoe looks white in color.
I like the idea of using outlines of heart shapes. They look like heart-shaped speech bubbles too. The hearts look like they are talking to one another. That is what hearts are supposed to do on Valentine’s Day.
The toe box is capped by a red sole. This is rounded up by capping of the heel in red sole too. I like the red lining of the shoe too. The shoe laces are white, which I think is appropriate since a red colored shoe lace would be too loud.
