Nike SB has already released the Hat Rod P-Rod 2’s but has not hit Hong Kong. Tinker combines features from both the Jordan 12 and 15. The side of the sneaker features a black woven material like the Jordan 15. The Jordan 12 can be seen in both the toe cap and sole with the university blue colorway as well as the toe cap leather texture and leather materials on the swoosh, and the rising sun pattern on the back panel. via nicekicks

  • Adidas Stan Smith Customs for Sikenomics

I spoke about Evolved Footwear’s Black Ice customs on Friday. These shoes did not get high marks in my post because they seemed to be a bit rough around the edges. I think Evolved Footwear is redeemed with the Stan Smith customs shown above. These Adidas customs are successful because the inspiration is rough-and-tumble.

Evolved Footwear created these sneakers for Sikenomics which is a growing clothing design and music company. This shoe was designed for a new clothing line from Sikenomics that was presented in Las Vegas for the MAGIC trade show. A pink SIKE label is applied on the tongue and heel in an effective branding of these customs. An explosion erupts from the outsole out to the rest of the shoe piercing an ashen sky.

If you check out Sikenomics, you will see the rough-hewn aesthetic of the designer that inspired these Stan Smiths. A polished pair of Adidas that looked like they just came off the shelf would be inappropriate. Evolved Footwear succeeded with these shoes where Black Ice failed using a tendency toward creative license to great effect.

DC Shoes x Methamphibian No. 2

DC Shoes and Methamphibian have teamed up once again with a hot new release. This second collaboration features two colorways – black/white/pink and black/white green.

Each shoe features an interesting leopard pattern that will haveyou going wild, along with some vibrant artwork. These shoes are expected to be released in the next month or so. We’ll give you the info on that as it comes available.

I really like what they did with these shoes, taking a very simple silhouette and turning it into a very unique choice. I prefer the pink version but they are both pretty hot! Via High Snobiety.

    Reebok R.A.D. Collection

Over 20 years ago, the Reebok R.A.D. collection was the company’s first attempt to break into the skateboard world. Shoes were a lot more simplistic back then, as we didn’t have all the manufacturing technology that we have today.

However these sneakers featured a full cupsole, velcro strap and other interesting details that were all the rage. Several colorways of this throwback will be dropping this summer.

Here is the white, blue and orange colorway as a tribute to the 1972 Dolphins, which is expected to be released on July 1st. These will be available directly from Reebok.com for just $75.
