The artist behind Evolved Footwear has taken a red/black Nike Dunk Low and given it an elephant theme. The red swoosh and laces as well as the black leather from the toe box to the heel have been left untouched. The customization of the Dunk Low is apparent when you look at the white spaces which are painted to look like elephant skin. A criss-cross of gray lines stand out from the white background to create an interesting visual effect.

This offering by Evolved Footwear can be found at the designer’s eBay listing. I have looked at some of the other designs and these kicks stand out. There are a few pairs with bright colors and more subtle paint jobs that don’t look that great. If you need a simple pair of Nike Dunk Lows with a bit of a custom touch, these shoes are your best option. A look at these customs from the other side is available below.

This pack was released in Asia awhile back and now it’s finally landed in the U.S.

The Nike Air Zoom Flight Supreme Quickstrike Pack features two new Retro colorways of the classic Zoom Flight 95 and Zoom Flight 96. The Flight 95 QS features a Black/Zest colorway and the Flight 96 features a Black/Red combination.

Both of these shoes were very well received overseas, and I’m sure they’ll do well here in the United States too. I’m not a really fan of the Flight 95. But if you like this sneaker, then this colorway is pretty sweet.

The Flight 96 is an all over black colorway with a speckled midsole and red trim/lace. You can find these right now at Nike retailers, such as Proper.

Major DC has collaborated with Nike to create a new Air Force 25 model. Major is located in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. and aims to bring the premium flair to its footwear and street wear. Its webpage states that it is but one year old. Major has achieved a lot in its one year in footwear.

Purchaz from Germany has collaborated with Nike to create Nike Air Max Lights. This is named with credit going to the Porsche GT3 RS. Purchaz and Leyp created these shoes. There are 4 colors to reflect on the 4 colors of the Porsche car.

The GT3 RS sneakers were presented to the Porsche staff for the maintenance crew to wear. These sneakers are exclusive and only for the crew. So they are very rare shoes. They will be mentioned in the Netherlands’ newsletter of Porsche Netherlands.

The orange sneaker has dark brown shoe laces and black bottom soles. The tongue has the Porsche logo in yellow material. The shoe’s inner lining is chocolate brown. I like the idea of orange and brown as they make a good combination.

The green shoes are unique as they are a rare color. The inner lining is khaki color and the bottom soles are black.

The black shoes have white inner lining and orange bottom soles. These orange soles bring the perfect touch to the black shoe upper.

The last pair of silver shoes has brown shoe laces that match the color of the silver shoe upper. Two of the pictures show the model cars beside their respective shoe colors. Can you imagine how cool it would be to drive a Porsche and wear the same color of shoes as the Porsche?

The Overkill Shop recently received a few new colorways of the Nike Blazer Mid for women.

The sneaker pictured above is a Quickstrike model. The shoe features premium black shiny embossed leather with slight touches of gold. The Nike tag on the back and the eyelets are the gold in this otherwise all black shoe.If you are looking for a new shoe in an all black colorway, these are ideal. They are priced at 149.90 euros right now at Overkill.

Another Womens Blazer Mid that they have available features an array of different colors of fabric. If you like a more vibrant shoe, these are definitely interesting. The shoe combines black leather with fuchsia, blue and brown to create a multi-colored patchwork look.

The third shoe is much more simple but still very good looking. Thissneaker features a white upper that is accent in grey suede. It’s a very basic looking shoe that is sure to please old school sneaker lovers. Instead of some of the wilder texture and colors of today’s shoes, these kicks keep it simple. And the price reflects that – they are only 89.90 euros.

The Gravis Cortex will be available in the spring/summer 2008 line of this stylish brand. The Cortex manages the difficult balance between using too much color and dragging down a wearer’s style with earthy tones. Electric blue is used on the heel and sole to reign in other colors on the Cortex. I love the use of brown, tan, black and cement colors framed in the electric blue to make this casual shoe work in most occasions.

If you like the Cortex, you should check out the Gravis website to see clothes and other shoes offered through the brand. The bags, shirts and other casual kicks on the website may be a bit pricey but the materials are top notch. Keep an eye at shoe stores with premium brands as winter closes out to get your hands on the Cortex.
