Custom Nike Air Max LightsBy SneakerFreak on December 13th, 2007 | No Comments
The Nike Air Max Light is a quality running shoe designed with the serious runner in mind. The only problem with the Air Max Light is the standard colorways which leave a lot to be desired in terms of imagination. A sample of the simple colors used by Nike on the Air Max Light is featured after this entry. A customs artist decided to streamline the Air Max Light with a black/blue colorway dubbed the Sub-Zero.
The black/blue combination may not seem that impressive to the experienced sneaker fan. I think that the bright colors of the original Air Max Light make this effort a stark contrast to the usual. The designer is moderately experienced in customs and you can see the development in this pair of Air Max Lights. There are few mistakes in the execution of the design and I think the black paint gives these shoes a sleek look. Since black goes with anything (and yellow goes with almost nothing), these custom Air Max Lights offer the wearer greater flexibility.

Air Jordan Fly High – Pop Herring SampleBy SneakerFreak on December 13th, 2007 | 1 Comment
This very unique shoe will be released next summer from the Brand Jordan Camp. This shoe is dubbed “Fly High” Pop Herring, named after Michael Jordan’s high school basketball coach at Laney High School.
This shoe features a very basic silhouette that looks like a throwback to the 50s. This black and white version is very interesting. The fabric that makes up most of these sneakers is a little dizzying, nevertheless it’s a nice looking shoe. We’ll update you more about these kicks as we get closer to the release date.Sample pictures via

Nike 6.0 Air Morgan “Fur”By SneakerFreak on December 13th, 2007 | No Comments
Nike has an action sports label named as Nike 6.0. This label has created a new Air Morgen that uses fur on the shoes. This sneaker is sold at Zozo.
Nike has found an innovative use of fur. This shoe is a luxurious shoe. The main colorway is in rich furry brown. This brown is also found for the inner shoe lining. I like the grey color on the tongue. I think it is suitable for matching the colors on the rest of the shoe. I also like the upper sole around the toe box area. The pattern of cross mesh creates the effect of seeing something metallic.
The Nike swoosh is also in white fur. This is a nice effect. It adds the impression that this is a premium shoe with much fur being used. Secondly, the white fur falls in line with the winter season. It is a reminder of snow.
Some users might say that a fur shoe can not be used for cycling because the fur stands in the way when it brushes against the bicycle spooks or chain/belt. If that happens, the sharp metal will certainly damage or even tear a hole in the fur.

Madfoot! December ReleasesBy SneakerFreak on December 13th, 2007 | No Comments
Madfoot! continues to launch very interesting styles this month. Recently, the
Madfoot! Holiday ‘07 – 2 in Purple Pack was released and now you can check out even more cool shoes from Madfoot! The Mad Base Mid is coming out in three versions of quilted leather, while the Mad Professor will also have two new colorways. In coming days, expect the five new Madfoot! kicks at
eproze. The quilted leather Mad Base Mid pictured above will be released in white, black and red colorways. The black shoe features red and gold trim to give it a very regal feel. Though the white version is simple, it’s also a very stylish shoe. But my favorite shade of these shoes is the red. Just in time for Christmas, the red shoe features a green top sole and white mid sole, giving it a very festive look.
The other two Madfoot! shoes coming out soon are two versions of the Mad Professor. These sneakers combine a variety of textures, including suede and leather, for a nice looking shoe. I particularly like the grey version, which offers a beige toe along with bright yellow trim. Via HighSnobiety.
