Nike AF1 Hi Bobbito Hiking Pack 1

Nike recently released the Bobbito’s Puerto Rico Nike Air Force 1 Pack. These sneakers are available at Overkill from Dec. 15. Each pair costs around $155.87.

This shoe is in a nice, beige color. Even the mid-sole is a brown-beige in color. The “AIR” patent is imprinted on the mid-sole.  Just above it is the icon of the hand. There is a special tag, also made from leather. It has the Nike Air Force label. This is very eye catching.

I like this shoe for the fact that it is uniform in one color. Even the Nike swoosh is in the same color as the colorway. The shoe laces are in a slightly lighter color. Of the 2 shoes released in this pack, I love the beige color shoe better than the other pair in earth-brown.

The second pair in this pack is slightly more colorful. It has a mid-section that is green in color. The rest of the shoe is in one color and the design is almost identical to the beige pair. The mid-sole is white and the bottom-most sole is grey.  The small icon of the hand at the heel is less visible because of the brown color.

In my opinion, the beige shoe looks a little more feminine and would suit the female user more. The brown pair looks masculine and macho and would make any guy’s feet look good in them.

  • Nike Air Mocs in 2008

The Nike Air Mocs that are about to hit the market in Japan and Europe are a pleasant alternative to the regrettable Ugg boot phase of recent years. The Air Mocs that will line shelves at the beginning of 2008 are available in the black colorway shown above as well as an off-white color. Each shoe has two fastening cords that allow you to loosen or tighten the Air Mocs for your needs. A simple tread pattern allows you to cut through the elements without slipping.

Nike’s past versions of the Air Moc have stood up against the elements unlike Uggs and other stylish boots. You can trudge through the snow, wipe down the Mocs and head inside for a day of shopping. Keep an eye out for the new Nike Air Mocs in the spring of 2008 if you need a less expensive alternative to overhyped competitors.

Adidas ZXZ ADV LEA - Superstar

Adidas has created a very colorful version of the Adidas ZXZ ADV LEA. Though the shoe is mostly white, it is decorated with multi-colored exploding and shooting stars inked in various places on the shoe.

Throughout the multi-colored Superstar you will find touches of orange, yellow, pink, red and light blue. I really like the use of yellow to edge the Adidas stripes.

Another nice feature is the layered colors in the sole. The midsole is white with blue underneath and black bottom sole. There are also touches of red near the heel.

These sneakers are available right now on eBay from eBay retailers such as SucremeUSA for around $50.

    Nike LD1000 Vintage black

Nike Vintage Running series has created the Nike LD1000 Vintage. Nort Berlin will be selling these shoes exclusively from Dec. 22.

This is a specially designed shoe that is made for running.  The shoe upper is made from extremely lightweight, stretchable material. The Nike swoosh is made from roughly cut denim and the edges are frayed to give the design a used or vintage look. This is one way of setting the swoosh apart from the rest of the background.

This pack comes with 3 LD 1000s. Each has the basic black colored shoe upper, but different colored swoosh and shoe laces. The sole is thick and has the special technology to aid runners. The bottom sole has thick, rough spiky treads for good running gripe.

The most subtle of these 3 pairs is the all-black pair. Even the shoe laces are black. I prefer this pair.

The second pair has a white colored Nike swoosh and white colored shoe laces. The white and black color combination is very striking. The backstab is also white in color.

The third pair has the same identical design, except that the swoosh is in blue denim.  The backstab is in a matching blue color.

    Nike Blazer Premium Mid Woven

This unique Blazer Mid is available right now in Japan and should eventually be released in the U.S. The upper of these sneakers is made up of nearly entirely black woven material, outside of its black toebox and perforated leather Swoosh. These shoes also have a red and gold embroidered star emblem on the heel.

I like the contrast of the light midsole and splash of red/gold on the heel and tongue label. This Nike Blazer Premium Mid is a very good looking shoe. Currently, these sneakers are available in Japan at LTD online for 12,800 yen (about $115 USD). Hopefully they come stateside soon because I really like the use of woven material in these kicks.
