    False Season 4 sneakers

False is an independent brand. There are two main designers in False. Their objective is to produce high quality attire. The creators are Le Messie and Amanda Scully. False has an aim. It desires to bring reality into the attire. The designs draw inspiration from mystics, imagination and society. The products are available at the False Online Store.

In the sneaker range, False has a High cut and a Lo cut shoe. They have chosen black for the main color of the shoes. The Lo cut has both shoe laces and shoe straps. It comes with a free label cum keychain. This can be removed.

To make up for the lack of color, False has made the design interesting. The toe box has its own panel. The soles are black. This is a great shoe for those who prefer an all black theme. I like this idea. I often use the solely black shoes for office attire.

The Hi cut sneakers looks identical to the Lo cut version. The one feature that is outstanding is the use of 3 shoe straps. This will surely secure the shoe. This shoe looks like a boot and will surely please fans of boots. Its practical design makes it a no-fuss and low maintenance shoe. I would choose the Lo cut over the Hi cut design.

    Art Force Ones

If you are looking for a colorful pair of sneakers, check out the Art Force One AF 360. These shoes feature a combination of colors, including both pastels and brights.

The geometric shapes on the rear side panel in purple are a very nice touch against the yellow. I’m not normally a fan of Art Force Ones, but these have a lot of flavor. I like the use of yellow on the perforated toe box but my favorite thing about these shoes is the Swoosh.

The fuschia color of the Swoosh looks sweet against the aqua and Ilike how it fades to white at the tail end. The complementary fuschia pinstripe on the white midsole is nice as well. You can get these shoes right now at the Art Force One Shop for $400.

  • Classic Graphics on Custom Adidas Stan Smiths

    stansmithcustoms.jpg

The marriage of venerable shoe maker Adidas with the name of American tennis great Stan Smith is only matched by the quality of the shoe this marriage produced. The Adidas Stan Smiths are worn by college students, tennis lovers and sneaker fans who like a simple and stylish shoe. This legendary shoe has been used by multiple sneaker artists as a blank slate for their work.

The custom sneakers pictured above and below are an homage to clean graphics from a bygone era. A series of squares in various shades of purple line the outside of each shoe to create an interesting visual effect. The heel is covered in black paint to frame a picture of a man and woman engaged in a passionate kiss. The image may be unappealing to those with no sense of sentimentality but I appreciate this pair of customs for the stark interplay between color and negative space.

A pair of pink laces helps complete the package. These Stan Smiths act as a piece of art more than a functional pair of shoes. I can imagine the owner of these custom breaking them out for special occasions where a statement must be made. I would appreciate the bold statement made by an shoe lover showing these Stan Smiths to the general public.
