Nike Women’s Tennis Classic

If you are looking for a simple women’s shoe in a black colorway, consider the Nike Tennis Classic in Black/Black-Myth.

The basic shape keeps things simple yet classy. The black-on-black colors are always a head turner. These shoes features smooth leather with silver detailing on the heel with “Nike” stitched in Cerise (pink). The same Cerise color covers the sole.

Nike Trainer Dunk Lo.

This Nike Trainer Dunk Low is a hybrid model design that has the infusion of the Dunk Low, Air Trainer and the Free. It is available now at Sold Out for 120.00 €.

The sellers advise that this Nike trainer Dunk Low design model has a special feature – the size is half a size small so you need to try on a pair that is half size larger than your usual size of shoe. If you’re buying online, you need to remember this advice and take it for granted since you’re not in the shop for trials.

The colorway is black, with shiny black side panels, black velco lace strap and black toe front. I like the idea of using shades of black for the shoe upper. It makes the shoe subtly interesting.

The pink accents on the velco brace up, Nike and inner sole provide the bright dashes of color that makes this shoe look a little cheeky. Look at the bottom sole along the side of the shoe. It resembles teeth with ridges. Some of these “teeth” even have black braces on them. There is even the “gum” with the upper sole that is white with specks of grey.

Truly wonderful.

Skateboarders and sneaker fans may be thinking about the autumn collections of their favorite shoe company but Vans is already thinking ahead to 2008. The Vans Mountain Edition Highs are a high top version of the shoe maker’s traditional skate shoe with checkerboard design. This shoe should not be much more expensive than other Vans offerings and it is ideal for skateboarders that need greater ankle support.

The best part about the Vans Mountain Edition Highs is the strap affixed for your comfort over the shoe laces. You can use the Velcro strap to keep your feet protected while you are boarding and easily take your shoes off by ripping the strap from its Velcro landing. You should save some money from the holidays and head down to your local shoe store in early 2008 to get these great shoes.

Nike Air Force 1 Core Stars

The Nike Air Force 1 Core Stars were recently released as part of the AF1 25th birthday celebration.

These shoes feature a mix of perforated leather and nubuck. Instead of the standard round holes as perforations, these sneakers have little stars instead.

The black/grey/blue colorway is pretty nice, as these shoes look sleek but simple. The Nike Air Force 1 Core Stars are priced at 90 Euros (about $130 USD) at Sold Out in limited quantities. Expect them to be popping up at other retailers soon.

Converse Star 70 Chocolate Leather

This Converse Star 70 features chocolate brown leather and a yellowish aged sole, giving the sneaker a classy, vintage appeal.

Recently the Star 70 have been high boots for women, but now Converse has come out with these good-looking brown sneakers.

The brown leather looks rich and is complemented nicely with the white laces.

These shoes can by seen in the Complex October issue. They are priced at $75.

Expect more colorways to be released in upcoming months.
The Reebok Ventilator LXR Croc

The faux croc exterior of the Reebok Ventilator LXR Croc gives this shoe a higher end look than what the price tag would indicate. At just under $60, a single pair of the Ventilator LXR Croc provide a comfortable walking shoe for anyone that has a tight shoe budget around the holiday season. Reebok is offering the new Ventilators as a two pack with a plain black and a plain white colorway for value-minded sneaker fans.

I have been tough on Reebok styles in recent posts but I am a fan of the Reebok Ventilator LXR Croc. This shoe is unassuming and provides everything you need for an active lifestyle. Check out the pack of Ventilators as they gain wider distribution at the end of October.
