Sneaker fans that want to celebrate all the ways they can go from point A to point B should look into the Transportation Pack by New Balance. The three pair of New Balance 574s included in the Transportation Pack embrace the wonders of travel by land, sea and air. Each shoe has a symbol on the tongue that represents their area of transportation including a road sign for the “Land” 574s and pilot wings for the “Air” 574s.

The New Balance 574 Transportation Pack is one of the most inventive limited editions I have seen in a long time. I love the map prints placed on the mesh area of the 574s to set you apart from other people in love with this classic shoe. You should head down to your local shoe store on Saturday, November 17th to get your hands on one of the 574 packs made available worldwide. Sneaker fans should prepare to surf auction sites in the next few weeks and pay a pretty penny for this innovative pack.

This is a new low-top spin on the Air Jordan 11 – the shoe that Michael wore during the Chicago Bulls record breaking 72-10 season in 1995-96.

Instead of patent leather, these kicks feature an interesting snakeskin in different colors, including Navy (pictured above) and Pink (for women).

These sneakers bring a whole new twist on an old Jordan favorite.I like the Navy snakeskin which is very unique, but still subtle. It’s a nice contrast to the stark white shoe, providing an interesting color combination.

Here is another new edition of the Nike Dunk High SB. This one is part of the upcoming music pack and is paying tribute to an influential rock history item – Marshall Amplifiers.

These shoes feature a Black/Red/Gold/White colorway – the same colors from the amps. This sneaker combines grained leather with black suede to form a nice looking shoe. The contrast stitching gives them a unique look.

These shoes are expected to be released in early 2008.

Other shoes in the pack which have been revealed in recent months include the Strummer Guitar Dunk Low and the Gibson Guitar Case Dunk Low.

This relaunched Nike iD Air Force One will have several new choices for customization. The customer can choose to customize his/her own Nike iD AF 1 shoes on the Nike iD website.

The basic model that is offered to customers is the premium Air Force 1. This is composed of premium leather. There are choices available for the toebox and side panels. The options for these are mesh materials. Then again, the customer can choose to have both the toebox and side panel to use the same material. Or, the customer can choose the toebox and side panel to have different materials. This means that the toebox and side panel do not have to match in materials.

The Nike swoosh can also be customized. The company has provided many choices. The customer can choose to have a distressed metallic gold and silver swoosh, or a choice of several other colors for the swoosh.

I like the basic suggestion for the shoe lace and the swoosh. The shoe lace can either follow the same color as the Nike swoosh, or follow the colorway of the sneaker. I prefer the lace to follow the swoosh because the colorway is already a large area of color and having the shoe lace of this same color only extends the same stretch of color. This makes it a little boring.
