UK shoe and accessories purveyor JD Sports has come out with a special edition version of the Nike Air Max 95 that features the international phone code for Midlands cities like Birmingham and Manchester. The Birmingham edition is pictured above and will fetch in excess of $100 American upon its release.

This special edition is a novelty fit for anyone who has lived in the British Midlands and wants something to remember their experiences. I think anyone with an interest in a cross trainer like the Nike Air Max 95 who has not lived in England may be able to find a better deal at a local shoe store. The limited design adjustments to the JD Sports version of the Air Max 95 makes it a poor investment for people looking for special editions that will grow in value.

Methamphibian and SBTG are two international brand names who do customizations for sneakers. They have collaborated together to produce a theme called “Skulls of Saigon”. They have released a Misfits Dunk Lo sneaker that features this theme. This customized sneaker requires a lot of work and thus the quantity that is available is limited. This sneaker is sold at the Methamphibian Online Store. It sells for a cool $600 per pair.

The new Fatima pack is out from Japanese footwear company, Ubiq.

The Ubiq Fatima Native Pack takes Native Indian geometric shapes and designs to incorporate them into these shoes. The sneakers in this pack are simple, yet modern-looking. The shoes feature a nubuck upper and a vulcanized sole.

They come in four different colorways, including Brown, Green, Navy and Grey.The brown shoes are subtle, contrasted by black inside, while the green are also rather muted with a darker green inside.The other two shoes are more bold.

The navy version features a bright yellow inside, which is very eye-catching. The grey is complemented with a bright red. The Native Pack is available right now at Atmos-Tokyo for 15,750 yen (about $ 145 USD).

Nike SB Brazil has collaborated with a group of pro skaters and artists to create three new sneakers. The group included Rodrigo Petersen/Rimon Guimaraes, Cezar Gordo/Rafel Chavez and Fabio Cristiano/Luis Felipe Volpi & Caue Rodrigues. Dubbed as the Nike SB Custom Series 02 Pico dos Sonhos Dunk Highs, each sneakers features a sock liner with art from the murals.
