These sneakers are a re-Issue of the classic Puma trainer in an upgraded version which features full leather and Thinsulate insulation. I really like the look of this colorway. The dark brown leather contrasts nicely with the bright orange, resulting in a very good looking shoe.

The Dunk Mid Premium Skate Mental uses a white and black shoe upper. It has a striking green accent at the top of the shoe lace. This is the shoe strap that is fastened by velco. This strap has its own label, “Heavy Mental”.
This shoe has a classic design.The front toe box is in perforated black leather. The side panels of the shoe are in canvas. The black canvas is decorated with a graphic print. This pattern gives the shoe its name in “Heavy Mental”.I like this idea. The print is too small for reading but I get the idea that it is heavy stuff and carries a message.
The Nike swoosh is all black. It uses the stream-line design that extends all the way to the back of the sneaker.
Nike has played with the basic colors of black and white very well. Although the basic favorite of white print on black background is used, the overall effect is good. I wouldn’t change a thing.
The use of leather and canvas is a clever mix.It is a good idea to have a leather panel at the front. It places more meaning into the old adage, “Put your best foot forward”.
The K-Swiss Si-18 Rannell is about to hit the shoe market in time for winter training. The Si-18 refers to the insole support system that sets this offering by K-Swiss apart from the competition. I have tried on other pairs of K-Swiss tennis shoes in the past and have found them to be easy on the ankles but lacking in cushioning. It sounds like K-Swiss has remedied this problem with the Si-18 Rannell.
Below are a pair of pictures in colorways offered by K-Swiss for the Si-18 Rannell. I love the blue/yellow colorway shown above and would suggest it as the best choice for serious athletes. At about $80 a pair, the Si-18 Rannell comes at a premium price in the market for cross training shoes. While I do not have the best history with K-Swiss shoes, I will go out on a limb and say that the K-Swiss Si-18 Rannel is on my radar when I hit the stores for a new pair of trainers.
Boot Motive, who made a splash in the Tokyo streetwear scene last season, has followed up with a second collection which feature three themes – military, college and sport.
As part of the military theme, Boot Motive has collaborated with Reebok to create a new version of the Omni Pump Lite. This shoe combines rich brown and green leathers with touches of orange for an interesting colorway.
The Reebok Omni Pump Lite x Boot Motive has a pale orange-yellow outer sole and dark orange laces and trim. Together the colors give this shoe a military feel.
If you like the Pump Lite, this is a very unique edition that could be a nice edition to your wardrobe.

Limited numbers of the Nike Zoom Kobe II ST just released in Hong Kong this week. These shoes feature a Black and Baroque Brown colorway, which looks very unique.
It appears these sneakers will be the last of the Kobe II’s to release for 2007. The shoes combine black leather and nubuck throughout, highlighted by a brown Swoosh. One standout feature of this Kobe II ST is the gum outsoles.
I really like the use of black and brown together on a lot of sneakers, but for some reason it doesn’t appeal to me in these shoes. I’m not really a fan of the style of these shoes in the first place, but prefer the use of much lighter colors rather than this combination.

Nike’s original CB 34 sneakers were initially released in 1995/6. It was one of the most innovative Nike releases in its time. This year, the CB 34 is brought back in two colorways. One colorway has a Tweed design. The other colorway has a black and red design.
Nike has launched these newer CB 34s because this year is the big celebration of Charles Barkley in the 25th anniversary of Air Force One campaign.
If you like Tweeds, you’ll love this Tweed colorway. The main color is brown. There is an orange accent in leather near the ankle. The shoe lace braces are in strong fabric and very colorful. Nike has done this to balance the odd mixture of plain Tweed and lively colors.
Before one can say that the shoe lace region is too colorful, Nike has included a strap over one shoe lace brace. This is black in color to darken the mood of frivolous colors. Basketball players will appreciate this extra support from the shoe strap.
I like the red-hot anthracite accents in the other red/black version of the CB 34. This is called the Nike CB 34 Godzilla. They look very good here. It makes the sole look like a layer of fire on black coal. I also welcome the perforations for air ventilation at the toe area of the shoe.
