Last year, Nike collaborated with Japanese dance hall and reggae stars Mighty Crown and Minmi. This year, Nike is collaborating with Ryo The Skywalker to create the Court Force Low and High.
These two special limited edition Court Forces are the “Earth” and “Sky.”Both of these sneakers will release in Japan on December 1st.
The “Earth” High (pictured above) features earthtone colors, including black, brown and beige. However the distinct quality of these shoes is the leaf pattern, which is fortunately use sparingly. These shoes are a little gaudy for my tastes, but I’m sure they will please someone.
Th “Sky” Low features a blue and white colorway that combines a variety of textures, including patent and embossed leather. The white leather on the sides is quilted and offers plenty of details. I love the look of the shiny blue patent trim. The white cloud-like details start above the tail end of the Swoosh and travel around the heel.
We’ll give you more details about these shoes as they come available.Pictures and information courtesy of
The bright colors and beautiful bodies on the beach during a typical summer can be distracting enough for the average person. The Nike Air Force Ones pictured here are customized to contribute to a high level of distraction. The customizer began with the basic white Air Force Ones and painted blue, black and yellow blobs in the shoe box.
A distinctive feature of these custom Air Force Ones is the flag of the Bahamas painted on the outside of each shoe. I love the light colors and tribute to the Bahamas on these shoes. The customizer may have been better off painting another flag in the toe box instead of the disorganized stripes that seem a bit disorienting. Nonetheless, you do not need to be from the Bahamas to enjoy these Caribbean themed shoes.
